This is a good line:
"The Prime Minister is more worried about protecting turkeys from hunters, than he is about protecting synagogues from terrorists" | @PierrePoilievre

Prime Minister Carney promised Canada would be the fastest-growing economy among G7 countries, even faster than the U.S.
But instead, he's delivered the only shrinking economy in the G7, and compared to our neighbours, we're falling further and further behind.
Our Conservative plan to build a strong, sovereign, united Canada:
✅Remove all Liberal anti-development laws.
✅Scrap the Liberal carbon tax on fuel, steel, and fertilizer.
✅Greenlight major projects to get shovels in the ground.

To the CBC, diversity seems to stop at appearances.
Diversity of thought and belief is sidelined.
The CBC maintains a blacklist and cancels panels that challenge Liberal viewpoints.
And this is the institution receiving $1.5 billion in taxpayer funding.
Canadians deserve better from their public broadcaster.

PM @MarkJCarney: "That member has voted against every single gun control measure ever put before this house."
@PierrePoilievre: "What I voted against was a Liberal approach that's doubled gun crime by wasting billions going after duck hunters, farmers & legal sport shooters." ✅

The floor crossing is excessive for a government that is less than a year old in a minority parliament. Serious commentators and analysts might want to turn their attention to the longer term implications of seizing a majority this way and what it does for trust in politicians.

The first time in Canadian history that a majority will be achieved through floor-crossing without electoral validation. Elbows Up.

Lori Idlout of the NDP has crossed the floor to the Liberals. Unbelievable.

Quite a day... today we learned the state broadcaster systematically silenced opposition views... and then despite the Governing party not having earned a majority mandate is now on track to assume power that was not given to them by the people... I talked about democratic decline under PM Trudeau, but it turns out I needed to look past Mr. Trudeau to his advisor PM Carney to see the root cause.
