🌍 A new @bmj_latest Global Health study maps how #FamilyPlanning (FP) and #Nutrition services are integrated across 64 WHO Member States in #AFRO, #EMRO, and #SEARO. While most countries have national FP and nutrition programs, only 62.5% report integrating FP counselling into nutrition services. Yet in over 90% of countries, nurses, midwives, and doctors already deliver both, indicating strong potential for more intentional coordination. The study shows that integration is strongest around maternal health services, but important opportunities remain, particularly in linking FP with food or cash assistance and iron–folic acid programs.
