In 2015 my 17-year-old kid and I gave an interview to @TheCurrentCBC about the long wait times for gender affirming surgeries. He’d been receiving blockers, and then hormones, at CHEO’s gender clinic for close to two years and spoke eloquently about needing top surgery.
