@CRFCFans @ospreys The figure of 129 came from the Ospreys themselves when I checked with them this week having seen 136 elsewhere. Though I’d better go with their stat.

Reuben Morgan-Williams interview with @simonrug 📰 The Neath-born Morgan-Williams is set to make his 130th appearance in Saturday’s crucial BKT URC clash with play-off rivals Connacht Rugby in Galway. “The boys are great and the coaches as well. The group of boys we have are so tight. I love the Ospreys. It’s where I’m from.” Read more: ospreys.info/4rWVYIG #OurBloodIsBlack

@CRFCFans @RyanatCAP @deano_j85 Sorry, I meant North was being used at 13 for Wales far earlier and far more consistently in that position than the Ospreys began using him there.

I think Louis Rees-Zamitt needs dropping. He's done nothing to justify holding on to the 15 jersey. Murray didn't work there either (as much as I like him as a player) so it's probably time to give Mee a chance there.

@RyanatCAP @deano_j85 You said he needs dropping. He has major attributes so give him the winger shirt then. I'm sure North was eager to play 13 for Gatland, no, he was given the training and the shirt, and told to do it. Ospreys didn't even play him at 13.

Appalling but sad reality. In April '25 @ospreys beat @scarlets_rugby to get a home draw v Lyon in a Euro QF. 3.7k turned up out of a catchment area of 400k. This fixture typifies how little the team is supported and why they are not viable. Nothing to do with previous success.

Is there not a single rugby union fan in #Wales, the UK, Europe and maybe the world, who is not appalled by the plans to kill the @Ospreys? I live in Cardiff, watch regularly at the Arms Park - because I love rugby. But rugby in Wales is unthinkable without the #Ospreys!

There is a lot of talk about the Ospreys and the lack of owning their own stadium and recent attendances are a reason why they deserve to be the team cut. This frankly is a very simplistic argument. Firstly, the only team to own its own stadium is the Dragons. Parc y Scarlets owned by council. Arms park by Cardiff athletic. Secondly, attendances. Ospreys started with excellent attendances at the liberty. But the size of the stadium lacked atmosphere. Combined with matches played at stupid times meant supporters drifted away. Cardiff experienced the same when they moved to the city stadium. Cardiff moved back to arms parc and attendances improved significantly. Ospreys had plans to move back to St Helens and it’s reasonable to think the same improvement would have been seen. The reason and only reason the Ospreys look like they are finished is the dishonesty of their owners Y11 and the WRU.

This season's attendances in the URC represent a significant uplift for the Ospreys compared to last season 📈 both median & mean attendance is up by over 1.1k whilst last night's attendance of 5,281 is the most for a home game vs Dragons in 3 years ⚫️ [data from URC app 📱]

@simonrug @NationCymru One wonders where the rugby fans have gone in Wales. Glos, Newcastle and Quins still pulling crowds.

@caerau10 @R900HYS Ok a lot is on my opinion which I take is subjective. But can also back that up with most league titles, most Welsh caps, most lions caps and most regularly at the top of positions Vs the other regions.

Problem with this argument, & applies to other superclubs, Ospreys average attendance for last season was little over 6.5K when fact is just to be sustainable & this was in 2003 before inflation/wage increases etc average attendance needed to be 8K! We need Inclusive WRU Regions!

@GeraintKemp Swansea is Wales’ second city with a population now in excess of 300,000. On their doorstep you have large towns like Port Talbot, Neath, Llanelli etc. It’s a joke!!
