Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him, Talk ye of all His wondrous works. Glory ye in His holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. (1 Chronicles 16:8-10)

"By virtue of the death of Christ, God obligated himself to be reconciled to every person who will believe. But he has not obligated himself to bestow effectual grace on every person, by which he shall be made to believe. Therefore, we defend both these things, namely, (1) that God is pacified by the death of Christ to such an extent that he is now ready to receive into his favor whomever, if they repent and believe in Christ, and (2) that the same God who is ready to grant, on condition of faith, the grace of remission equally to all peo- ple, nevertheless is not prepared such that he should conduct himself equally towards all people so as to produce in them this condition of faith." The singing of man-made hymns in the worship of God, not being authorized by Him, is idolatry.

The Breastplate of Saint Patrick is just an ancient form of personal covenanting. Patrick was a Scottish Covenanter. "I bind unto myself today the strong name of the Trinity by invocation of the same, the Three in One and One in Three..."

American RC rhetoric is strikingly similar to that of aggrieved ethnic minorities. A white guy who converts to Rome moves from “white” to “catholic” and adopts a group identity capable of being victimized and permitted to have public solidarity.

That anti-Catholic conspiracy theory going viral on neoncon X yesterday was one of the most rambling, insane, and bigoted things I have ever read They're even going after Catholic Answers now They should call it the "Protocols of the Elders of Catholicism"

XLI. This very matter, perhaps, will be more suitably explained in this way. Justification is opposed to accusation; now we are pressed by two accusations in the divine forum. First, it is alleged that we are sinners that is, guilty of having violated the condition that was established by the legal covenant. Then it is alleged that we are unbelievers—that is, that we have not fulfilled the condition of the covenant of grace, namely, faith. From the former accusation we are justified by faith, by which we embrace the grace and righteousness of Christ. From the latter we are also justified by works, inasmuch as by them our faith is shown. Regarding the latter accusation James affirms that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone. But Paul, with reference to the former, says that “by faith a man is justified without the works of the law,” adding many necessary things. (a Rom. 3. 28. b Iac. 2. 24. c Ep. ad Rom. 4. ad Gal.)  XLII. In the day of judgment, since the covenant of grace obtains the force of law (for it has been promulgated throughout the whole world by fit heralds), this one thing must be proved—that we have had the condition of the covenant of grace, namely, faith. Therefore faith must be brought forward before all else, together with charity, as it were, as signs of this condition, by the effect of faith, or as an argument demonstrating it, as is commonly said, afterward. XLIII. Therefore, since the promise of righteousness, or of the remission of sins, demands from us only the condition of faith, our faith must be brought forward into that forum before any good works are demanded from us. Then we are accused, as it were, concerning our faith itself, whether it has been true in its exercise, and whether by that accusation we may be justified, not by our works, nor by our own inherent good, but by another’s good according to the ordinance of Christ; and lastly, whether through the Spirit we have advanced more and more in piety. On this account we shall be able to stand in the righteousness of judgment, which, as I have said, is the place of the covenant of grace. (d Apoc. 22. 11.) If your view of baptism doesn’t account for these verses, it’s time to change your doctrine: Mark 16:16 — He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Acts 22:16 — And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Titus 3:5 — not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 1 Peter 3:21 — There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
