@VyprWasTaken @McClureShawn The Hawking Institute, MIT, and plenty of other sources show it. The universe is not infinitely old. It is about 16 billion years old. You could consider that "the beginning of time" - because yes, time (and timespace) had a beginning)

Where exactly IS this tomb? Oh, you don't know? You only have 4 ancient, anonymous, unprovenanced CLAIMS of such a tomb, all of which differ in the details? I see. The only "something" that ever came from "nothing" is Christian faith manufactured from the nothing of the Bible.

@Truth_matters20 your gymnastics: "all have sinned" includes a newborn (or a fetus), who has not taken any actions with any rational will, and thus cannot have sinned, so "all have sinned" must mean "all have original sin" You pretend that is a better reading than " 'all' is a generalization"

@RevBWarr I can't believe you don't know that the statement "what Protestants teach" makes no sense, given different protestant denominations teach different things and most agree that personal interpretation of the bible is not subservient to their church's "teaching"

I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is a sales tax on you home rather than taxes to pay for public services you use every day. “I paid off my home why do i still pay property taxes?!?!?” Oh, did you also stop using the roads and libraries and sidewalks and parks? Not worried about fires anymore?

@rushicrypto In my area 70% goes to the local school. If you don’t have kids in the school system then yes 70% then another 5% is libraries which we don’t use. So 3/4 is pointless for a lot of people.

@rushicrypto most of the people I have seen complaining about property taxes are old people who feel entitled to keep their house despite it being sized for when they had a house full of kids in school (in a good school zone)... they're selfish and wrong and need to gtfo of that house

@hell_line0 Not sure on the logic of CPR being unnatural.. but yes most of these are unnatural. Do they kill a human being though? (Also, mass use of C-sections is removing evolutionary pressure for baby head size and female hip size/angle that allow successful natural birth.)

So since you cannot know the future, you cannot "know" your current faith is a saving faith

@RedDeadRisen @oliverburdick If that is true, then you can never know whether you are or aren't saved... because you can believe you are saved, then a decade later for any number of reasons, you may lose your faith and leave. At which point, there's a distinction but no actionable difference

@RedDeadRisen @oliverburdick I don't think God robs us of free will at any point (not baptism, nor when sealed with the spirit). So it is always possible (well, until someone dies) for someone who is currently saved to lose their salvation.

I don't think anyone is assure of salvation (other than obvious saints that have passed on) because one could always fall away and turn against God - bc free choice exists.
