The @EPA final rule is ambitious and challenging, and meeting these goals will require close public-private cooperation. @Ford is absolutely committed to lowering CO2 emissions while offering customers real choice across hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles. This year marks the 100th anniversary of @Ford’s Chicago Assembly Plant! CAP is the longest continuously running Ford plant in the U.S. So much Ford history has been made here… from Model Ts in 1924 to Ford Explorers and Lincoln Aviators in 2024! As we honor the 10-year anniversary of the Ford Transit, we are also celebrating a major #sustainability milestone. The E-Transit vehicle has saved customers over 3 million gallons of gas and over 25 million kg of CO2 output since 2022.

Today, @jimfarley98 announced that Ford will send complimentary Fast Charging Adapters to eligible #F150Lightning & #MustangMachE owners in U.S. and Canada which will allow @Ford EV customers to use Tesla Superchargers and ultimately make charging on the go more accessible.

When we announced @Ford EVs would get access to @Tesla Superchargers, I said we'd send customers a Fast Charging Adapter. I'm pleased to confirm that eligible #MustangMachE & #F150Lightning owners in the U.S. + Canada can reserve a complimentary adapter starting soon. This is our way of saying thank you! We want to make charging more convenient for our Ford EV owners, so we're excited to add Tesla chargers and will continue growing our BlueOval Charge Network. More details soon.
