Perhaps the failures of the current administration really all come down to this. Now the whole thing seems adrift and unstable. Contrast this with Rupert Lowe putting the costs of restoration up front in launching his campaign. He's not lying; there's no bait and switch. Maybe that will doom the initiative from the start and Trump's messaging was more shrewd. But what good is that if you win and then lose your nerve or get wrecked in the next election because the people felt misled?
