I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

Most American rightoids who are general elite-class (very broadly speaking, say upper-middle class professional, or prosperous small business, and wealthier) are like this. The social conservatism and populism are faked, scams to create a mass constituency for tacked-on unpopular libertarian economics and/or liberal imperialism, and if you interact with them on the personal level and get to know them a little too well you'll find that they're drug users, or into shit like wife swapping, or cross-dressers, or patrons of transsexual prostitutes (this one is alarmingly common), or whatever.

1) They can. 2) They’ll always have that baggage. Not every man is a Hosea. In fact, very few are, want to be, or can be successfully. Most promiscuous women aren’t Rahab. No Christian man should be faulted for considering a body count over zero a dealbreaker for marriage. 🤷‍♂️
WWUTT?@WWUTTcom

Promiscuous women can be forgiven their sins, washed clean, clothed in white, and with a new heart and a new mind in Christ Jesus, they can make godly housewives and loving mothers. If you don't think so, you don't know the gospel or the grace and power of God (1 Cor. 6:11).

I am breaking the Lent X-fast bc this PSA for the right to understand how grifty subversives operate. Paraphrased summary: BasilT: “Your friends are subversives controlled by Peter Thiel and Israel.” Me: “No they aren’t. The only evidence you have is out of context screenshots and rumors.” BT: “But that’s just the tip of iceberg, I can show you how far their subversion goes if you are brave enough to talk to me. Let’s chat!” Me: “okay, I don’t run away from challenges. I am happy to hear your case.” BT: “Excellent. We can do a podcast on your channel or mine where I will explain my worldview at length!” Me: “I didn’t agree to discuss your worldview at length, I agreed to hear you give evidence for your accusations.” BT: “What? Now you’re being subversive too! How cowardly” This is an obvious game we saw played by Milo and others. Create drama by making unfounded accusations mixed with (some) founded ones. Then when the Drama makes you center of attention, use it for self promotion. I am not paying this game.

@GreeneMan6 @SlavlandStalker @thegassedman @staggeredfawn @RFisher1890 @RED_pepe_ I said im always down to chat. you said what about. I offered a broad topic of discussion that reflected the exchange we had that could be about an hour conversation that both of our audiences seem to want and you said no you just want to defend OGC specifically and narrowly.

My challenge for people going on like this. Can you give me the name of one organization that you think is NOT subverted, and that effective people on the right SHOULD be working with? If not, then what is the strategy? Stay atomized?

The internet apologist’s need to reduce entire traditions to his own is perhaps one of the most infuriating and ignorant things I come across on X. By this perverse logic, one could dismiss Ghazali, Avicenna, and Kindi as mere recyclings of the Platonic-Aristotelian tradition, and so one would fail to see what was unique in their appropriations of that tradition.
al-Nasafī@nasafism

I mean, you only have Aquinas thanks to Muslim scholars. He built his whole philosophical system on the shoulders of Imam al‑Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and others, repackaging their ideas into his Trinitarian theology.

We can claim Ockham the man but I deny that nominalism is properly speaking, a Catholic idea. It would be absurd to claim that materialist atheism was built on the back of Catholicism because one school of thought that is now virtually extinct, explictly rejected and has almost no representation within the sensus fidelium, exists. I would also point out that the substantial metaphysical claims of the Mutazilist school have not been integrated in any meaningful sense. The Maturidi adopt some of the philosophical trappings of natural theology but reject the things that make it possible. The tension between the doctrine of the uncreated Quran and the essence/existence distinction is the key problem. The two views are not compatible and all modern Sunni tehology has its roots in the exact opposite thesis that the Mutazilists proposed.

@CZundapp The mostly Maturidi Ottomon Empire, and its absorption of the Ash’ari Mamluk Empire made both true Atharism and true Mu’tazilism functionally extinct, (the former, you know as being resurrected by the Salafi movement). Unless you’re straight-up Salafist, I don’t see the issue.

The reason why Islamic studies fell behind is due to the incapacity to move on from past glory. They will cite these philosophical works like hadiths, and dull their own minds. Drunk on their own success, they forgot the art of philosophy. No Ibn Sinas are born, only Muhammads.

I am saying that mainstream Islam took a decidedly more voluntarist/occasionalist approach as opposed to the more Greek/rationalist approach of the Mutazilists. My post essentially agrees with you but I deny that most of Islam can properly claim them as "theirs" given the trajectory of Islamic thought and the explicit influence of Ashirites. And the premise of the quoted tweet isn't even true. Both Aquinas and Avicenna were working within a Greek system and the great contributions of the muslims to the field are rightfully lauded and important but not decisive.

@CZundapp I am well aware of the historical intricacies of the trajectory of Islamic philosophy. I regularly converse with colleagues who’ve studied in Medina, and make it known that they are not fond of these thinkers as I am. It is odd to say “anti-rationalists” in the sense of my post.

@AngelPoltava That is to say, they will try to reclaim people they overwhelmingly rejected; in truth even the great natural theologians of Islam can be said to more properly find their home in Christianity.

@AngelPoltava Except this isn't even true. The rationalist schools of Islam were defeated by the Ansharites and mainstream Sunni Muslims are overwhelmingly anti-rationalist. The greatest contributions of Islam to natural theology are not mainstream within Islam itself.

A few years ago, Revolver News coined “male-to-male transsexuals” to describe the performative masculinity of Black Rifle Coffee and similar conservative projects. Markwayne Mullin is the textbook example of male-to-male transsexual

Trump DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin admitted to threatening his daughter’s teenage boyfriend while speaking at a church in 2022: “I told him, I said if I ever see you kiss her in front of me, I’ll drag your face across the asphalt. And that’s a true story. I told him that.”

What inheritance? This is like an elegy for the money your 5 older reprobate brothers pissed away on whores which they received from their fathers who mostly pissed it away on whores which they received from their fathers who mostly pissed it away on whores. There's nothing to inherit. You would have to not only ethnically cleanse not only the foreigner but also 70 to 80% of your people and then what walk around in the ruins?

As I have consistently said, one of the points of immigration is to ruin the people we bring to the West. We are extremely good at it and the fact that we are good at this is generally ignored by a meathead Nietzscheism that assumes that sociology is driven primarily by aggressive display signaling.
David J. Bier@David_J_Bier

One in four people raised Muslim have left Islam, which means that all polls of Muslim opinion substantially understate the degree of Muslim immigrant assimilation since leaving Islam is a type of assimilation. In my post today I document how big this bias...

Yeah but like why focus on the unproven stuff (kids teeth removed for sex or liquifying bodies) and instead focus on the things that are proven. This is going the way of pizza gate very quickly, and what I mean by that is the fact that pizza gate started with real people discussing stuff in pedophile code and ended with a dude shooting a pizza restaurant. Boom now if you believe pizza gate you’re crazy. Keep focused on the task. Holding these people accountable for their crimes, not inventing more crimes.

I live surrounded by progressive writers who would kill for a blurb in the New York Times. Yet none of them know that we've cracked the code. Just be part of our online right-wing intellectual circle, then, come February, write the next annually scheduled "Why I denounce the 'DISSIDENT RIGHT' think piece and, within two weeks minimum, the NYT will be writing favorable blurbs about you in their pages. My leftist friends would be howling with jealousy if they only knew it was this easy.
