This comment just reveals your own ineptitude had you been in a high ranking position yourself. Tomorrow you'll be saying "not all men" when a rape or a crime is trending, in a pursuit to eliminate stereotypes against men.

@phillibecks Continue appointing black south African females to these high ranking positions and watch the country go to waste

A pharmacist in Nyuswa, Hillcrest, KZN, has been murdered. Her cashier was also killed in the attack, while a security guard who attempted to intervene was shot and injured. The motive is unclear.

Kana Zuma ran the presidency this way. You would wake up one Monday morning and we'd have a whole new cabinet. He reshuffled it atleast 3 times. Notwithstanding the reshuffles, at some point he fired 2 Finance Ministers in 24 months. He consolidates power like this.

[BREAKING NEWS] Former president, Jacob Zuma suspends uMkhonto WeSizwe Party, Nhlamulo Ndhlela's membership with immediate effect. Ndhlela is accused of 'sowing division and bringing the party into disrepute'. Tune in to #eNCA, channel #DStv403.

@MatimbaMakon Just look how easily you get emotional over being criticised. Imagine you as a judge, or anything really. (That's not an insult). And yet you want to call for women to not be judges.

Calling someone an antisemite for defending themselves, where they didn't even mention Jewish people or the religion is crazy work. Was Redi supposed to take the abuse and defamation to not be antisemitic?
Howard Feldman@HowardFeldman

@RediTlhabi @Dischem Sadly, I have come to accept that you are an antisemite. I resisted accepting this for years. But it is what it is.

Someone is called a bitch, Then she's falsely accused of receiving money from the dischem foundation, She disputes that and demandsaccountability, And your comment to all of this is she's antisemitic? Madness!!! Are you suggesting were Mark not a Jew, Redi would be ok with his attacks? Or does antisemite now mean something else?

Redi didn't mention the word 'Jew' once, just described the abuse she'd received from Saltzman. Like she described the abuse she overheard from the Chief Rabbi. But the response is to stick fingers in ears and yell 'antisemite' What a sad community we have become.

Dear Mark. I assume you are a Saltzman, founders of Dischem. I do not know who your mother is. I have taken NO MONEY from her. The @Dischem Foundation supported good causes led by my previous employer @Radio702 . They also sponsored the Brain of 702. It was a partnership with a commercial radio station. Did your mother want our souls in return?Did your family think that was money coming to me personally? What money did your mother give ME, Redi? And when did I meet with her? Is this what you discuss at family dinners? I am a big customer at Dischem and I assumed like any moral corporate citizen, the Foundation was set up for good deeds, not as a form of blackmail. Perhaps @Dischem foundation should have made it clear to 702 management all those years that it supported good courses in return for MY obedience and silence on Israel's atrocities and war crimes. I'd have told them to go fuck themselves. And unless you and your mother can prove here, publicly, that I, Redihentse Tlhabi, took money from her, then you can also go fuck yourselves. And why is everything about money?

@JMaferehla @Dijosti @errolbsk The word "Law" in itself is defined by absolutism and objectivity. While there definitely is room for abstract reasoning, it's impractical for us to not eventually be precise once we write those laws.

LLB is one of the simplest degrees in South Africa. That is why it doesn't need Pure Mathematics, just Maths Lit and a high APS (Admission Point Score) are enough in most SA universities. If we want to insult non LLB holders let's be intelligible about it.

@BelindaaPheto @TauYaDitshego How does a judge even dictate this case be prioritised. Don't these courts act like a circuit, or a network so you don't get this situation? Dictating schedules, as if as a judge, you're not part of broader pursuit of judicial cohesion between yourself, lawyers and other judges.

The #JoeSibanyoni case is a classic example of what police mean when they say courts fail them. After years of investigation, the case gets struck off the roll just like that.

The “girl school” where the only source of information comes from the terrorist Iranian government. There is no proof that children were even in the school at the time. (Why would Iran hold class on a military base when they knew USA was about to strike?) Not one human rights group has been able to verify the ridiculous claims Iran made about “170 school girls” You are treasonous for spreading this vile propaganda

@Almighty_Zulu07 @IvynSambo 💯!!! Imagine saying; focus on the argument. Meanwhile, there's hardly any argument being made, just arrogance and credibility attacks. I call you dumb, you defend yourself, then I accuse you of engaging in the ad-hominem fallacy. LOL.

Ivyn you've just walked into your own trap. You correctly define credentials fallacy as judging an argument by the person's qualifications rather than the substance. Correct. That's a real logical fallacy. But here's the problem ,it was YOUR side that started talking about credentials. 'This guy has an LLB by the way.' 'He's batting for his father.' 'His analysis is beneath him.' Those were not Sizwe's supporters listing his qualifications. Those were his critics using his background to dismiss him. Africa Research Desk defended his credentials in response to that dismissal. You are now citing a logical fallacy that your own side committed first and pointing it at the people who responded to it. That's not logic. That's deflection. And notice what's still not happening , nobody on your side is engaging the actual argument. Not the ConCourt order. Not the 'unless and until' language. Not the four years of silence. Not the $800k. Just credentials, motives, fathers and now logical fallacy definitions. Africa Research Desk asked the right question , who committed the fallacy here? We both know the answer.

@IvynSambo @MightiJamie Credentials were made the topic. If you put my credibility on the ropes and I am on the defence for such credentials, it's not me who appealed to that. You guys want to strike the match, when the house burns down you shout "2 wrongs don't make a right."

Because they are wrong does not also mean you are not wrong too! It’s that simple. You knew your statement wasn’t just addressing the credentials fallacy it was also meant to prop up and solidify Sizwe’s argument online by bringing up his Oxford PhD, books, and all that. Two wrongs don’t make a right, but deflecting with ‘they did it first’ doesn’t fix your own appeal to authority either!
