Mailchimp finally kills its free plan Just got an email with new limits. Only up to 1,000 email sends per month and only 500 contacts. These limitations won't work for any company or even for tiny side project. This is what happens when a SaaS got acquired by owner of TurboTax.

MailChimp is changing its free plan, now only up to 500 contacts. I guess I will need to search for alternatives. I don’t hate paying for services/software, but $360/month for 10 emails that I send over the year, that is too much.

So I have at least 15 free @Mailchimp accounts and getting charged for more than 500 contacts is a bloody rip off (starts in March) This won’t be happening and I will be moving them all away.
