@implausibleblog @AldiUK Surely this is the same as the little scan handsets too. When I go to the supermarket, I open all my bags up in the trolley, scan and chuck the stuff in. Even though it’s scanned I’ve still not paid for it. That’s the beauty of self scan, packing as you go along.

Just been 'harassed' at an @AldiUK 🤷‍♀️ Apparently you can't walk around the store with your own bag filling it up as you go. Items must be placed 'in a basket' A member os staff walked up to me mid aisle with a basket and said it was store policy. I asked if it's a new policy as I've been to this store perhaps a dozen times, shopped the same way, and no one has ever asked me to do that. Staff said it's not a new policy, it's always been this way. So I asked why no one has ever asked me to do that before. Staff said, stop arguing and just do it. So I put my bag in the basket. Staff said, no, not like that. Put the items in the basket, then put them in your bag after you have paid for them. I put the bag in the basket and walked off to take this photo. Aldi, if this is a thing, please let me know. Would appreciate the clarity. Thanks 👍 P.S. If I wanted to steal stuff I'd go to a Waitrose 👀🤷‍♀️ P.P.S. @waitrose I don't steal stuff so don't worry, and thanks for never stopping me when I shop with my bags and not a basket 👍

@SamanthaMalin I wholeheartedly disagree. I am lucky to get healthcare with my job, and I am very very aware how fortunate I am and also I DO know what it’s like to rely exclusively on the NHS. Tbh I’d prefer to use the NHS, I hate using my private healthcare as it’s what the tories want

@united I’m travelling from LHR to EWR with you next week. I’ve uploaded passports for all my family into your travel ready centre, but it’s telling me we cannot check in online and need to see an agent at the airport. We’re not basis economy and have checked bags. Why is this?

@GossiTheDog I think it’s a mixed bag depending on the team. I’m in Customer Success and we’re pretty much always camera on. With exceptions for someone eating/not feeling up to it etc. I much prefer camera on, but respect those who don’t 🙂
