We help founders and business owners build real and reliable software with @emergentlabs
But once you ship, the real work begins: customers, ops, follow-ups, reminders, hiring. Endless small tasks
Today we start taking that off your plate
Introducing @buildwingman beta

@Kishan_Devani_ And how do you exactly evaluate “the skill”? The current world hires are based on interviews, resumes, and performance.
English

@thenameiskh4n @zuess05 You wouldn’t know “who” they are unless you see them work in real-time. An interview or a resume presents a scripted performance. So, how can you observe their work in reality without hiring?

This is actually something I've been thinking a lot about lately. My company hired a "senior" dev from Bolivia for a pretty good salary.
I realized within days that the guy was useless with no comprehension skills and hardly any experience or intelligence.
Dude would spend days on an hours worth of work, stalling by saying he's researching or still figuring out requirements only to deliver subpar work by the end of the week.
I eventually had him removed from my project but somehow they still haven't fired him.

@betgenuinecom You wouldn't know who regardless, unless they actually work. An interview or a resume shows you a perfect script theater

- never tells me where he’s going(always informs later)
- knows cooking bt doesnt cook

I’m still happy 😅

@Salhasanain Then the root of the failure are the customers! No adoption! Everything else are almost noise. Neither do I see why I wouldn’t prefer my personal phone
