@CallumJMo When that happens it works well but for example yesterday the Ellis no try needed numerous looks. If it was being checked already it shouldn’t have taken so long.

Can someone explain how this “try confirmed” rule has supposedly sped up Super League games? A player goes over, people celebrate, everyone stands around watching replays on the big screen and then the referee decides to finally go to the video ref to make a decision.

@TrylineUK Not having double figure injuries every single week, we were playing players who are so far outside the squad they haven’t got a squad number this season.

Anyone with their ear to the ground at Warrington know what has changed this year to lead to such an increase in form? Steve McNamara effect? The right players moved on and brought in? Something else?

Some stats from last night Shorrocks with 7 carries made 14 metres. Klemmer had 2 carries making 7 metres. Whitley had 4 carries making 19 metres. Davies had 3 carries making 10 metres. Delaney had 6 carries and made 24 metres.

@StPhilipthe2nd @Garry1573439 Issue is the backs at Saints are abysmal, you need at least 3 hard runners or 2 hard runners and a good footwork man (think Grace, Josh Thewlis). Saints have Percival who does the former and then no real footwork people, throw in lots of injured forwards and lightweight wingers

@StPhilipthe2nd @Garry1573439 No but this is what happens when you have no territory. Props are great when you have a full attacking line, but when the defense knows they are coming they are useless, hence you use backs who have footwork and have more chance of finding their front.

@StPhilipthe2nd @Garry1573439 Props don’t carry the ball when trapped on your own line, that’s for wingers, centres and the fullback. By time a forward is onside it’ll be 3rd tackle and they need a rest before another big defensive set.

@Garry1573439 Are you suggesting that saints had no play the balls? Of course you’re not. We had 11 completed sets in the first half. Plus half a dozen not completed. That’s in excess of 70 play the balls and Klemmer took two of them.

@rlfansSaddened Because they had to stop play, someone else can play the ball for him whilst he gets treated in back play if they want to play on.

The green card is the most pathetic thing in rugby league. Player gets kneed in the back of the head accidentally and is punished for it. Why isn't it just play on?

@_WireFans_ Given every time Max Wood has had to tackle a full time prop it’s been a disaster, it’s probably the best decision.

He’s only gonna go with props of Harrison and Philbin on the bench on Sunday isn’t he, for me would be a terrible decision with Leeds’ pack.

@GaryOrmiston1 @wakey_jon @SuperLeague @SkySportsRL Because that’s what their negotiation agreed, 5 games all on TV at TNT’s control. SL gave Sky 2 games average per week for Sky to control, then 5 more games Sky don’t control but do show hence lower production values on not on main channels.
