Sadly, such ill-treatment is not unusual. It is unconscionable that any child should be treated this way. ❗ Content warning: child sexual violence and abuse Palestinian children are the only children in the world to experience systematic prosecution in military courts. It’s an abusive, inhumane prosecution system, where children are being physically, emotionally and sexually abused, humiliated and starved in Israeli military detention. The UK Government should publicly call for the release of all Palestinian children arbitrarily detained and call for an end to Israeli military authorities arresting, detaining and prosecuting children.

BREAKING: Trump is left reeling after the New York Times reveals that Iran’s attacks have bombed EVERY American military base in the Middle East so badly they are “virtually uninhabitable!” Thanks to the Trump administration’s criminal lack of preparation and shocking understimation of Iran’s military capabilities, the US military is now working remotely in the Middle East, putting civilians in danger as they work out of hotels and makeshift operations centers in civilian areas. “The result, according to current and former military officials, is a war that is much harder to prosecute.” The Times reports that “many of the 13 military bases in the region used by American troops are all but uninhabitable, with the ones in Kuwait, which is next door to Iran, suffering perhaps the most damage.” Iranian officials have even accused the U.S. military of using civilians as human shields by putting American troops in hotels. This is sure to prompt another furious tirade from Donald Trump who we now know is not getting the full picture of just how badly this war is going for him and is instead just getting a highlight reel of war porn, watching our tax dollars blow things up for two minutes every day. This is a perfect demonstration of the blind hubris of the Trump administration. After two decades of watching America uncontestedly bomb the poorest people in the world, Trump and Hegseth couldn’t even conceive of an enemy with a sophisticated military and able to fight back, despite all the evidence to the contrary. They took no preparations, expected no reprisals. They didn't evacuate anyone from the Middle East until AFTER the war had started. They didn't bother to prepare for drones. They attacked Iran because they are cowards and bullies, thinking that they could impose their will on Iran by simply killing one old man. They were very, very, wrong, and now they’ve started a fire they cannot put out with lies and bombs.

UNGA resolution 3314 explains that when a third country allows its territory to be used by another state to launch an attack, it crosses a legal line from "neutral bystander" to "accomplice." Under Res. 3314, this specific scenario is addressed directly as an act of aggression: "The action of a State in allowing its territory, which it has placed at the disposal of another State, to be used by that other State for perpetrating an act of aggression against a third State." BREAKING: [YET ANOTHER MAGA PEDO] The CHIEF OF STAFF for a top Republican official in Alaska is indicted for sex trafficking children, and HOW he was caught is incredible. Craig Scott Valdez, 36, chief of staff to Republican Sen. George Rauscher and newly elected chair of the Anchorage Young Republicans, was arrested Friday on charges of sex trafficking a minor, producing and receiving child sexual abuse material, and coercion and enticement of a minor. Officials believe there may be at least 12 minors who were victims of his operation. This isn't a misunderstanding. This is a monster. According to court documents, Valdez allegedly lured a 15-year-old girl he'd groomed on Snapchat to his home to "sexually exploit her to celebrate his birthday." He had met her when she was just 13 or 14 years old. The FBI has identified at least 11 other potential victims. You know who stopped him that night? Not the Republican Party. Not a background check. Not any kind of vetting process. Her mother. A brave mom used a family tracking app to find her daughter at Valdez's home. She knocked — then walked in, punched Valdez in the face, and carried her barely-conscious child to safety. Valdez, apparently stunned that a mother's love hits harder than his sense of impunity, then FLED HIS OWN HOUSE when police arrived. Sen. Rauscher's office had nothing to say — firing Valdez only AFTER the charges became PUBLIC. The Anchorage Young Republicans had just elevated this man to state committee chair last month. MAGA loves to screech about "protecting the children" at school board meetings and drag shows. But when a predator is running their own offices and youth organizations? Crickets. Pink slips. No accountability.

The UK Labour Govt has moved from simply favouring England to actively sabotaging Scotland. The blocking of the £1.5bn China turbine investment is just the latest example. It's OK for China to have a stake in the Hinckley nuclear power plant and a mega-embassy in London but not OK to invest in Scottish renewables. The problem is exacerbated by having political parties and a broadcaster that are just English branches tagged 'Scottish' which means the decision isn't getting the condemnation or coverage it deserves. London kicks Scotland and these branches polish its boots.
