Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Many of us may have encountered angels without even realizing it. They don’t always appear in a way that makes them obvious, they can come in the most ordinary forms, even as a beggar asking for food. I had an experience like this once. There was a day I was completely broke, so broke that I had nothing to eat at home and only 1500 naira left in my account. I skipped breakfast and lunch just to preserve that money for the evening, because I felt it was more important and didn’t want to take any chances. Later that evening, I went out to buy bread, milk, and chocolate for tea. I had already carefully planned how I would spend the money. When I got to the store, I saw an elderly woman. She looked very old, her face wasn’t familiar at all, which was unusual because it was a small neighborhood. She was trying to buy a few items for tea, but her money wasn’t enough. She kept pleading with the shop attendant, a young boy who wasn’t the owner, so there was little he could do. I stepped in and asked for the total cost of what she had picked. After hearing the amount, I even told the boy to add a few more things for her. I paid everything, even though it meant going beyond what I had planned and leaving myself short. The woman looked at me, smiled, and began to pray for me. Then she slowly walked away. She could barely move properly. After a moment, I stepped outside, hoping to catch up with her, maybe find out where she lived so I could check on her from time to time, but she was nowhere to be found. It was as if she had disappeared. I even asked the shop attendant if he had ever seen her before. He said it was his first time. I eventually bought the items I originally came for, but I had to tell the boy I would pay him later since I no longer had enough money. As soon as I got home, something unexpected happened. Someone messaged me on Instagram. He said, “I’ve been meaning to support your business. I’ve watched you grow. The other day, I asked how I could help, and you mentioned money. I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt a strong urge to reach out to you tonight. Send me your account details.” I was shocked. Just like that? I sent my account details, and to my surprise, he transferred 2.5m naira. From having almost nothing to becoming a millionaire overnight, it didn’t make sense naturally. It felt like something had shifted in the spirit. Who was that woman? Was it her prayers? Why did this man suddenly feel compelled to send money that same night, something he hadn’t even planned to do yet? Up until the day I left that area, I never saw that woman again. This experience taught me something powerful: sometimes, in our lowest moments, we are being tested. How we respond can determine what follows. The blessing may not always come in the form of money. it could be health, long life, favor, or open doors. The Bible encourages us to be kind to strangers because we never truly know who they are. Some encounters may be more than they appear, perhaps even angels in disguise. So, choose kindness. Even when it’s hard.
