@SteveReedMP Steve, I’m a single, fourth generation farmer. My family farm is the English average of 88 hectares (220 acres). Altogether, it’s worth around £3M (house,shed,land). Upon my death, that’ll leave a tax bill of circa £400k. It generates around £25k per annum. This policy is madness

What will actually happen is that cheaper agricultural land will be affordable to new entrant farmers, who currently can'take farming pay.
