It might be a great moment for @aave to think about mandatory and exclusive use of @chainlink CCIP.
@aave is a great defi protocol but they have to get serious with their bridges if they really want to scale.

Update on rsETH incident: According to our analysis, rsETH on Ethereum mainnet is fully backed. Out of an abundance of caution, rsETH remains frozen across Aave V3 and V4 and exposure to the incident is capped. WETH reserves also remain frozen across affected markets including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea. Aave is actively validating information and assessing potential resolutions.

@ari_kiry V4 will have variable borrow rates depending on their determined quality of the asset. So Link for example may have a 30% premium to borrow USDC. V3 doesn't have that, so V3 it is.

This is a very powerful update for the Aave protocol. Upgraded emodes enable more granular configuration and remove all drawbacks of the isolation mode. We can now onboard assets with LTV0, but with specific collateral/debt LTV pairs, use case-oriented. You're a marine and want to ultra ape stLink/Link leverage staking? No issue, you will have a dedicated emode for that, but the protocol won't allow you to short BTC with that collateral, allowing your leverage but limiting the global protocol risk. The benefits of isolation while keeping access to all liquidity and the best user experience. This will allow more assets to be considered in Aave V3 while remaining the safest onchain venue for your hard-earned assets. Just Use Aave.

$LINK Options are now open on $GLNK. Only go up to jun 2026 though. Would've loved to see jan 2027 or 2028s.
I will still do a june 2026 18 call swing here with an amount that I am willing to loose completely.
I got filled in at 2.95...starter position....will look to add more as days go by. These premiums can change as they've just been added and there is no volume or open interest so DO NOT place market orders if you're trying to enter these. Always do limits in between the bid and ask.
Remember, if $GLNK is below 21 by june 2026...YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING YOU PUT INTO THESE options. So define risk and make sure you're you're ok with loosing everything if you decide to play these.
I am looking forward to 2027 and 2028 options opening up as we move forward. NFA.
