@ColombianFox1 @Juan123455_ There are ways you can offset but even with the minor 2022 disruption the Europeans paid for oil tankers to not supply countries like Pakistan leaving them literally in the dark.

@ColombianFox1 @Juan123455_ Ok I think your really not understanding the amount of oil here. The flow of disrupted oil through the Strait of Hormuz is seven times the feared loss and 20 times the realized loss of Russian supplies in 2022. This is like if the world went into pandemic lockdown.

@ColombianFox1 @Juan123455_ Like your not going to miss the global depression if this really gets bad. No one is but the global south and poorer nation will get hit the worst.

@ColombianFox1 @Juan123455_ Yes but it is the interactive effects oil derivatives are used for a full spectrum of products and Colombia still needs to trade at every stage of the process the price goes up from fertilizers to trucks to ships to the plastic bags to rubber sealants hell MRI helium goes scarce.

@MassReagan2 That's because their main arm is not lobbying but campaign financing right? They mainly fund PAC's which do not count towards lobbying. Your just using semantics to hide.

It’s Friday late at night. I walked with her online 30 years ago in a multi-user dungeon role-play game. Met her in a café in Hamburg 20 years ago. I had too much wine tonight. Should I call her? Text her? I’m plotting functions in TikZ to distract myself.

I too think it's a false jab when the article opens with insufficient workplace safety, testing, planning, or emergency preparedness in my energetics manufacturing plant.
Palmer Luckey@PalmerLuckey

This "deeply reported" piece from WIRED is inexcusably bad. First, it is just wrong. Not nitpicky things, fundamentally false jabs and premises. Second, it completely ignores the stakes of supporting active troops to push r/antiwork softboy talking points. Examples below.

He has to come out and say he is an illegal alien and is in the US illegally and fears for his life from ICE. Or that he was coming home from Subway when some hooligans started shouted chirps at him about his golf game, then poured Sparkleen (a liquid detergent formulas used in golf ball washer machines) on him. Then the hooligans put on him a LIVe neck warmer and a Sun visor and said "This is LIVe Country". I guarantee that CNN, MSNBC, and all the local channels would cover it and with the help of all Anti-Trump politicians he would be out with all the charges dropped before the Tip-off of the Mich / Bama B-Ball Game tonight.

@lthlnkso It is not well designed they have essentially rigged the game against the AI. There are better non saturated benchmarks that have lasted years.

@ReubenR80027912 @RichardHanania Show someone a contract and ask them to read it aloud. They can probably do it. As them 'what do paragraphs 8 through 10 mean, in your own words?' and they probably can't.

I refuse to believe that most Americans can not read at a 7th grade level If this is “true” then it means we are simply measuring literacy incorrectly; 163M Americans are actively employed Can your 6th grader read an employment contract? Read heavy machinery instructions?

If you have the basic skills to participate in the discourse at all — like you can read and comprehend a New York Times article in order to complain about it — you’re in a weird, out of touch, elite bubble. slowboring.com/p/in-defense-o…

@atelicinvest @pradeeepk Ok even then you can just arb open source model bolt Turbo on to widely available and in demand models with slight discounts and presto. Hell Turbo G3.1 and provide massive efficiency gains with no one matching your value prop..

@pradeeepk I have been thinking the same thing and just cannot find good justification!!!! It works and people have already deployed it. Its good for humanity that they are doing it but why?

@OfflineBTW @destiny_thememe This is an AI generated Article that has no primary source citation. As for leases I think your confusing 2 types of leases farms first take a optional 5 year dev phase then a 20-30 lease term PPAs with Solar farms usually are 10-25 LBNL Utility-Scale Solar Dataset so no moving.

Across the US we see datacenters taking electricity, water and land, running a slop machine at a financial deficit fueled by stolen creativity, taking away their futures and going after our individuality and sou-hey that speech was about Arasaka wasnt it.
Pubity@pubity

The largest data center in the world is planned to be built in Ohio, and it'll cost up to $40,000,000,000 to construct. The 3,700 acre center will require 10 Gigawatts, 1/3 of Ohio's entire power grid capacity, to run.

@OfflineBTW @destiny_thememe Could you cite sources for the soil isn't farm-able. Why is it (poising via heavy metals?) As of latest data via DOE PV FPDI dataset doi 10.21948/1842958 we see a median -0.75% per year so panels only reach nameplate capacity by yr25 (lnr) and 29.8 (cmp) Any datasets for 5yrs?

@CandorDier @destiny_thememe The problem is Solar Farms only last about 5 years before theyre removed, the owners dont use the energy produced or get discounts, the soil isnt farmable after their removal either. These solar companies lie to you when they say they return your solar to its "original state"
