@lancejorton @BrianZahnd This is really good. What does #8 really mean in this case? I'm having a hard time understanding what they mean by "dismember the body of Christ" in this (or honestly any) context.

@BethMooreLPM I love you and everything you said here Beth. You are the wind beneath my wings. And did you say dog pictures?

Some of y’all are acting like it’s 2016 and we didn’t learn a dang thing about public discourse and the successes and failures of social media to persuade in culture wars. I’ve had quite an education in the last 8 years and I’m not playing games with people who love to hate and bait.
Here’s how this is gonna go: you bait/I block. I spoke loudly eight years ago because I was in a state of total shock. I’m no longer shocked.
Here’s what I mainly want to do on here. I want to encourage people in their faith in Christ and love for the Scriptures — that’s my calling — and remind myself and them that the goal of all discipleship is Christlikeness.
I want to enjoy all sorts of people, show those who don’t know Jesus a little love in his name and maybe bring a little joy and hope to them.
I also want to have fun on here and laugh because some of the funniest people on earth are here. I want to learn from people. I want to talk basketball. I want book recommendations. Recipes. And pictures of dogs.
Those are the main reasons I’m here. I’m not your liberal. I’m not your conservative. And if you think I am, you do not know me from a roly-poly. I am Christ’s. My identity is in him alone. My challenge is to view important decisions through the lens of what seems most like Christ. I get that right sometimes and wrong sometimes. We all do.
I’m very likely going to disappoint some of you this election season because you were counting on a big row. As a loved one of mine often says, I just don’t hate myself enough for that right now.

@CandyEmbray Oh no, we're sorry to hear of your damaged bag and your disappointment with the provided voucher. Feel free to reach out in a DM with your claim number and we would be happy to take a look. -Sara

@SouthwestAir can I get assistance with a damaged luggage claim? The claim has been filed and a voucher issued that is insufficient. I need to speak with someone who is empowered to assist me on how to reach resolution. Please help.

@fopminui @CollinRugg From someone who regularly complains about the lost art of customer service, this makes my day. Also I think I get it. TRUE customer service originates from caring and empathy. Diego showed that in his “above and beyond” moment. Thank you Diego.

JUST IN: Missing child from Michigan randomly shows up on someone's live stream in Miami, Florida.
17-year-old Troy Coleman, who has schizophrenia, has been missing for months and was thought to be dead.
During Lacy & Clix's live stream, a teen with his shirt off was seen going up to the live streamers and introducing himself.
Coleman's brother saw the video and then reached out to the streamers to tell them that the teen in the video was his brother and he had been missing for three months.
"Hello, my name is Trent Coleman and my missing little brother from Michigan was on Clix and Lacy's stream in Miami," the email read.
"He was wearing green shorts and they were making fun of him, he is not on drugs he is schizophrenic and he is 17 years old if someone can contact me about this i would be so thankful he has been missing for 3 months and his case was put on hom*cide in Michigan."
Lacy has since shared the information on X in hopes of finding Troy.

@JasonKelce Love love love this response. And love love love me some Kelsey’s.
English

Responding to this, because I have seen a number of people say it. I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first. We both raise our kids, we both work, We both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwhich.
If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic.

@JasonKelce Your wife is a homemaker. But you can't support butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television. Seems you're a bit hypocritical. Y'all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It's a shame.
