@taj1944 Miller, Myers, and Hoglander for Cozens, Byram, and Quinn would be the dream. Though that would be asking a lot for Miller and Myers to waive their NMC's for Buffalo (especially when Myers used to play in Buffalo).

Dreger saying according to intel and his sources around the NHL trade chatter around Miller has increased. He thinks Canucks have had conversations with other teams but that doesn't mean Miller is imminently being moved. Miller hasn't been asked to waive.

@CanucksMafia All of them were smart, prudent moves with no real overpay. Myers was a good term, good value. He'll finish his career here.

@CanucksMafia Meyers is not an F his a 6’7” RD that upped his game and eat decent minutes. It’s B+ when you compare it to OEL at 3.5 M🤣

@DarthChrisEV Beast? He was decent. Which relative to other years, was a massive upgrade. He’s also aging and getting slower. The term on the contract is even worse than the cap hit.

Myers was a beast last year not sure why everyone is so down on him

@hockeyguyBar He oddly gets a pass in this market. Maybe because he’s such a nice guy and good teammate? I dunno. But he’s been a pretty bad hockey player over his Canucks tenure. I wouldn’t have paid him more than 1.5M.

@dredlich @hockeyguyBar Fair point. But with the Canucks lack of D, it would be super nice if he COULD be the top guy on the second pairing. Also, he disappeared in the playoffs which is a bit concerning.

@2003nicko Minimum contract. Solid 7-8 guy who probably wouldn’t get claimed off waivers. Brings some toughness and isn’t a massive liability.

@CanucksMafia Well probably an A- so not that much different I guess 😂 I just think he’s one of the bigger names that was available so I’m surprised you didn’t go even higher. Also curious why Freidman is that high, not saying you are wrong, I just don’t know anything about him!

@bassetgreg Myers needs to earn respect. He’s had one decent year in 5 for the Canucks, and even then 3M is a massive overpayment.

@CanucksMafia Tyler Myers and Desharnais - C+ Desharnais may be the most improved player in the league with Foote and Gonchar coaching him. He’ll never have Zadorov’s offensive skills but he may become better defensively. Tyler Myers is the Rodney Dangerfield of Canuck twitter
