Here's the thing about Wilyer Abreu - I am just not yet convinced this is more than a streaky platoon hitter. Even if he's a very good version of a streaky platoon hitter, the ceiling is capped. And don't show me the Statcast page - I don't need red bars to tell me he's hot.

@Cap459 Appreciate the kind words! I think it's just the nature of rankings. I imagine Ctrl+F is used heavily, and I totally get it, though I hope that if they use Ctrl+F they at least stop every time it hits and not just in the list.

I've been doing fantasy baseball rankings for a while and it amazes me how many people seemingly come to an article with 200-250 players for 1 dude and his rank bothers them so much they comment. I am appreciative of every visitor, but like, why consume content this way?

Everybody always says "oh, time to cut player x" which sounds great, but who do you replace that player with? This thread identifies 3 players rostered in >80% of leagues that I am fine to drop after 8 days of baseball and suggest a replacement rostered in less than 50% 🧵
