His argument: writing produces thinking.
You can't formulate a thought without first articulating it.
If kids never write because AI writes for them, the quality of human thinking collapses.
That's the surface problem.
The deeper one is purpose:
"The point of living is to create.
That's the point of being a human being. It's necessary for joy.
There is no joy without creation."
If the machine creates everything and humans just consume, you don't get utopia.
You get despair, mass unemployment, and eventually political revolution.

🇺🇸🇨🇳 The U.S. has 4,000 data centers, while China has 365. But 24 months ago, AI training required 100 megawatts. Today the minimum is 1 gigawatt. The U.S., Canadian, and Mexican grids can't deliver that. China's can. The AI race was never about who built more, but who built bigger, and right now, America's own power grid is the bottleneck.

UPDATE: I NO LONGER STAND WITH THIS STATEMENT
I know I've been saying the war is over since Trump made the threats to 'wipe out Iran's civilization', and doubled down since as it became obvious Trump wanted to walk away
But things have changed.
The Iranian demands have gone from reasonable, to almost impossible for Trump to accept
If the latest reports from Iran are true, Iran wants to:
- Not concede on their ballistic missile program and proxy network (fair, expected)
- Control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a fee, as well as ban some countries (maximalist, but workable)
- According to Bloomberg: Reparations (This is impossible for Trump to accept)
- Unfreezing of assets and lifting of sanctions BEFORE any negotiations on nuclear program (That's according to Iran's Fars. If true, that would be a deal breaker, as logically the lifting of sanctions was always a concession linked to the nuclear program, similar to the JCPOA)
If the above reports are true, then the likelihood of war is even higher than 50%. However it's impossible to know what Iran's actual stance is, and which "conditions" are throw away terms.
Either way, things are not looking good at all.

Axios reported an Iran deal as “imminent” five times in 19 days. Five times, no deal. Why does the same story keep coming from the same reporter?
His name is Barak Ravid. Deep sources in the White House and Israeli intelligence. Every time the administration needs to pressure Iran or move oil, Ravid gets the call. Is he reporting news or delivering a message?
$760 million in oil shorts placed 21 minutes before the April 20 Iran announcement. Who knew?
Yesterday Trump paused the naval operation in Hormuz. Markets rallied.
But zero US ships crossed the Strait on Tuesday. Iran says they “have not even begun yet.” Does this sound like a deal?
Iran wants 5 years on enrichment. The US demands 20. Is that a negotiation or a performance?
Every time the leak drops, oil sells off and futures rally. Every time, nothing gets signed. Ask yourself who benefits from the market believing a deal is close right now.
Now they say a response is expected within 48 hours. Again. This after Iran resumed attacks on shipping. I remain deeply skeptical...

🇺🇸BREAKING: The Pentagon just announced fifteen thousand service members, guided-missile destroyers, over one hundred aircraft, and unmanned platforms deployed to the Strait of Hormuz. Operation begins Monday morning.
A senior U.S. official then told CNN, on the record, that Project Freedom "is not an escort mission." The Wall Street Journal said the same. The administration is calling it a coordination framework. Governments talking to insurance companies talking to shipping firms.
Fifteen thousand troops. One hundred aircraft. Guided-missile destroyers.
Coordination framework.
Read those two statements again. They cannot both be true.

That's the operation. Navigation guidance. Not warship escorts. Not mine clearing. Not force projection into the strait.
Iran is surely watching whether anyone actually uses it.

🇺🇸🇨🇳🇮🇷 U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz just framed Project Freedom as a global precedent, not just an Iran problem. His argument: if the world allows one country to mine international waters and toll civilian shipping as a war tactic, that precedent is available to anyone in any future conflict. Strait of Malacca. Gibraltar. Hormuz. That's a message aimed well beyond Tehran. China controls approaches to the South China Sea. It's watching Project Freedom closely. Not as a spectator but as a student.

The non-U.S. Naval escort ships will be from a "coalition of countries" on a "humanitarian mission."
Trump warns Iran, any attack on these ships is an act of war.
