But recently, someone decided to steal the money.

@SuperPicton @Pirat_Nation No, Android is open source, Google adds there stuff closes the code and then is sold to you as a Android OS. 3rd party OS like GrapheneOS will still be Android but without the Google part attached and will be uneffected.
