@GBNEWS Eye test should apply to all every 2 years. I notice how people’s driving changes when the clocks change in late October. At that time of the year when the sunlight has disappeared it can be the first time for months that people are driving in the dark at 5pm with poor eyesight.

@rushicrypto Faster cars have better brakes and handling which enables the car to stop quicker if someone walks out from a parked car. The stopping distance from 70mph is 315 ft , a Porsche 911 can accelerate to 100mph and then stop all within 315ft. Faster cars are safer.

@OperaSocialist Thatcher took over in 1979 after a labour government had ruined our economy. Basic tax rate in 1979 was 33% , top rate 83% investment surcharge 98%. National insurance 6.5%. So a basic earner was paying nearly 40% when she took office.

@itsjakss To PCP a 2 year old car is usually dearer than a brand new car. APR are higher for second hand cars than new. As an example a new car at £55,000 is slightly cheaper at an apr of 2% than the same car 2 years old selling at £43,000 with APR ranging from 9-12%.

Just to add because i can see some confusion in the comments. My general rule of thumb is - Lease - Brand New Cars PCP - Cars 2-4 years old HO - Cars up to £15,000 Cash - Cars £5000 & Under This often means you don’t get affected with deprecation as much as 💪🏾
