@realmikolson Salvation is by Grace alone through Faith alone in Christ alone
English

Roman Catholics: “The Bible doesn’t say that you’re saved from your sins by faith alone; it also requires good works from you.”
Meanwhile, the Bible:
Ephesians 2:8–9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Romans 3:28
“For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.”
Romans 4:4–5
“Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes… his faith is counted as righteousness.”
Galatians 2:16
“A person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ…”
Galatians 3:10–11
“All who rely on works of the law are under a curse… the righteous shall live by faith.”
Philippians 3:9
“…not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ…”
Titus 3:5
“He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy…”
2 Timothy 1:9
“He saved us… not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace…”
Romans 11:6
“If it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.”
John 6:28–29
“What must we do, to be doing the works of God?”
Jesus answered, “This is the work of God, that you believe…”
Acts 16:30–31
“What must I do to be saved?”
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…”
And this is just a start.
The juxtaposition of faith and works—as it pertains to our right-standing before God—is painfully clear throughout the entire New Testament.
You’d have to intentionally ignore it to miss it.
We are saved by faith alone.

Below are the ages of several godly men when they completed their race on this earth:
• Charles Spurgeon - 57
• Jim Elliot - 28
• John Knox - 58
• William Tyndale - 42
• Robert Murray M’Cheyne - 29
• Samuel Rutherford - 60
• Jonathan Edwards - 54
• Dietrich Bonhoeffer - 39
• John Owen - 59
• David Brainerd - 29
• John Wycliffe - 54
With many of us men in our 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond, it's sobering to consider how many men at this point in life had already finished their course with joy.
May the Lord teach us to number our days (Psalm 90:12), and help us truly grasp how short life is.
May we faithfully serve our Savior with whatever days He has given us.

This is my wife Jessica having dinner after a 14 hour day. She comes home from work, has enough time to eat and get ready for bed and it’s back to work the next day for another shift. She is up early to get ready for her day. She doesn’t like to be bothered in the morning and I respect that. She showers throws her hair up, grabs her lunch gives the dog and me a kiss, and heads out the door.
At work, she takes care of people who are having the worst days of their lives. Strokes, Car accidents, motorcycle accidents, falls, breaks, brain damage, and more. She takes care of mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, and families. It doesn’t matter who you are or what happened. She will take care of you.
She works through lunch and rarely has time to sit. She comes home after 14 hours, takes off her shoes that have walked through blood and tears, and just wants to sit down. I don’t ask her about her day because She doesn’t like to talk about work when she is home and that’s fine.
If she does want to talk, I will listen. Sometimes she comes home happy and sometimes she comes home sad. But no matter how she feels, she is always on time for her next shift.
I love her with all my heart. My wife is my hero. My wife is a Stroke Nurse.❤️

@NMoonitz @DrWaldmiller Martin Luther can clear some of that up for you but you must read and study The Book of Romans, written by Paul. Most people have know idea how dark and terminal the human condition truly is. May God Bless All of You.

English

@DrWaldmiller The Bible says a lot. So far it appears people say Catholics aren’t Christian because they disagree with how they worship, but isn’t anyone who believes Jesus to be our Lord and Savior a Christian?
English

@NMoonitz @DrWaldmiller I recommend that anyone uncertain or confused by any of these questions find a Biblical pastor that teaches and backs everything up with Scripture. IMO that's Gary Hamrick @ Cornerstone Chapel, Leesburg Virginia available on YouTube
English

@NMoonitz @DrWaldmiller Nikki I thinks it's wonderful you have asked. That's the Holy Spirit guiding you. This is what it means to be a Christian.
1. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus alone.

🚨 BREAKING: Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to PERMANENTLY CUT OFF U.S. aid to Somalia after the country demolished a warehouse holding 76 TONS of American food, per Daily Wire.
GOOD. Cut off the gravy train.
Rubio said it perfectly. Foreign aid is NOT charity. It is U.S. TAXPAYER MONEY and it must serve the AMERICAN national interest.
Caring about human rights and humanitarian need does not mean writing blank checks to governments that disrespect American generosity and destroy aid meant for starving people.
America comes first. Every dollar must advance OUR foreign policy, OUR security, and OUR interests.
No more endless aid. No more waste. No more disrespect.
This is leadership. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to the new Secretary of the Navy
Hung Cao! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡🫡
Hung Cao has a really impressive military background. He's a retired US Navy captain who served more than 30 years, from 1989 to 2021. He started out as an enlisted sailor back in 1989, then graduated from the Naval Academy in 1996 with a degree in ocean engineering. Later he earned a master's in applied physics and did fellowships at MIT and Harvard.
Most of his career focused on special operations as an explosive ordnance disposal officer and deep sea diving officer. He often worked right alongside Navy SEALs and other special forces teams, handling bomb disposal, counter-IED missions, and underwater operations in tough spots. One early highlight was in 1999, when he led the dive team that recovered the bodies of John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn, and her sister after their plane crash off Martha's Vineyard.
Cao is a combat veteran with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. He spent years disarming roadside bombs and explosive threats on the battlefield, and in his final tour he directed sensitive operations, counter-drone work, and other key tasks for special operations command. He picked up several big awards along the way, including the Bronze Star Medal and the Defense Superior Service Medal.

No presentaba ninguna lesión visible. No hubo pánico.
Nunca volvió a casarse.
Repentina. Implacable.

I’d rather have the #Guardians $74 million payroll and be in first place than the #Mets $352 million payroll and be in last place, on the verge of losing 12-straight.
Just sayin…

This is my niece, Kate
She went into liver failure at 5 years old due to a rare disease. The Drs at UCSF where she lived for over a year said things looked grim without a liver and bone marrow transplant. The match registry couldn’t find even one bone marrow match in the world. Our tears abounded, and life without her was unimaginable.
My family prayed to our father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Kate is graduating high school this spring, and loves Jesus.
She never had any transplants.
