Update: we have been working closely with @Cardano_CF @IntersectMBO @emurgo_io exchanges, and the community upgrade to node 10.5.2. I'd like to thank all of their teams for coordinating, professionalism, and working quickly with the SPOs. We'll have a writeup later today as a post-mortem on what exactly happened and how it was resolved. The network is not down, blocks are still being made, and- in the end- the longest chain always wins. Cardano will be ok.

JUST IN: #Cardano $ADA Founder Charles Hoskinson says "the network survived, it didn't stop, and ultimately, the attack failed, so I'm proud of that."

Following an issue identified in the Preview environment yesterday, Cardano is currently experiencing a technical issue now on Mainnet. Currently block production has slowed, and we’re working closely with @Cardano_CF and @InputOutputHK as we coordinate a technical response. Node operators - If you are running Node version 10.3.1 or higher please upgrade to Cardano Node 10.5.2. 1/4💔 After three years, we've made the tough decision to downsize #CardenPool. It wasn't easy, but it's no longer sustainable in the current market. We invested in proprietary infrastructure, acquiring and maintaining 5 machines across different locations in Italy.

Looking like a wallet with 2 million ADA in it funded a few other wallets and is purposefully trying to create stress on the chain.

Update on the Security Incident The attack has been mitigated, and we have temporarily shut down the application to isolate the security incident.  1. None of the connected wallets and CEXes were impacted. 2. Thanks to the immediate incident reponse from the CoinStats team, only 1.3% of all CoinStats Wallets were affected, totaling 1,590 wallets. The list might change as the investigation is ongoing but we don’t expect significant changes. 3. If your wallet address is in this affected list, please move your funds immediately using your exported private key (if you have exported previously): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… 4. We are actively investigating the extent of funds moved and will provide updates as soon as they become available. We're actively working to bring the app back online as quickly as possible. @LucidCiC Being able to afford the HW does not make Cardano accessible unless one has enough pledge or funds to attract sufficient delegators…otherwise, you have a non producing pool. Sad but true; isn’t it?

There are more people producing blocks on Cardano than any other blockchain in existence!🤯 Block Producing Nodes can be ran using 24GB of RAM & 250GB of Storage! Cardano is accessible to Everyone & because of that, the MAV has increased by 5,000% in just 4 years! $ADA ⛹️‍♂️
