🚨 Oxford and another Championship club have complained to the EFL about a potential conflict of interest with Blackburn boss Michael O’Neill - who also manages Northern Ireland.

@LBACSimon @Poldarn @FBAwayDays I’m not saying it’s not a good stadium, or even that it wouldn’t be good for a bigger club, but that stadium wasn’t built for that excuse of a football club, it’s far, far too big for them and that ruins the atmosphere. As a concert venue or hosting rugby games it works well

I want to know… 1. Who do you support? 2. Who does your Dad support? 3. Who does your Grandad support? 4. What is the nearest football ground to your house?

Would be handy if the Blackburn manager didn’t play all of our players in a friendly tonight before we battle against Blackburn to stay in the Championship 😊 #OUFC

@Poldarn @FBAwayDays Not really a football stadium though, is it? It’s more just a concert venue which happens to host a pretend football club every other week.

🚨 BREAKING: TIGER WOODS ARRESTED FOR DUI — BLOWS 0.00 AFTER HIGH-SPEED SUV FLIP… SOMETHING DOESN’T ADD UP Tiger Woods was just arrested after the crash, but here’s what’s raising questions: • Officers say he showed signs of impairment • Breathalyzer result: 0.00 • Still arrested for DUI • Then refused urinalysis test No alcohol. No clear explanation. Still charged with DUI + refusal. That’s where it gets strange. So what shows “impairment” with a 0.00… and why refuse the one test that could explain it?

Does anyone truly know what happens if Leicester drops to League One? I’m terrified we won’t exist soon…

@JonD_BCFC As an Oxford fan I’m a big fan of Currie defensively, but he’s not an ‘attacking’ left back at all, never mind a very good one. His crossing is ‘okay’ at best and he really doesn’t get up and down all that much (although admittedly that’s in part to do with our overall squad)

If Oxford go down I'm 100% wanting Jack Currie. Very good attacking left back. Good crosser, good on the ball and gets up and down the line well. We nearly signed him years ago when at Wimbledon. Still young and a talent imo

@JonD_BCFC He’s got a really high ceiling though, he’s great for us now and he’s likely to be even better next season- hopefully we stay up and it’s got us

@JonD_BCFC I’m sure even Bas Savage put in a decent cross every now and then, that’s what highlight reels will do for you! Don’t get me wrong, he’s great defensively and he can cross, but more often than not he cuts back and because he can’t cross with his right he just passes backwards

@Shottonstache @JamieCumming_ It’s not the away kit, it has a white badge on the arm, the away kit clearly has a gold one - completely different, you should buy both!

#oufc for all Oxford fans going on their one away trip this season, dont come in after 14:30 and say you are sat in my seat...it doesn't work like that...if you want your ticket seat get in it at 14:15.

I think West Brom will pick up points today. Everyone else has got quite tricky games, us especially. I think this is our hardest game left and I’d take a draw now… #OUFC

@DaveClarke42 There's still time for six carriages to fall off the back and a forty five minute delay while the driver and guard enjoy a particularly loud fart.

@m0000c1 I don’t know enough about their concourse agreement, to be honest I just assumed it was, post Covid, a placating exercise to try and get fans back into the ground and that most of the extra income was swallowed by increased rent.

@CaribbeanCo The club are already getting a share of the earnings from such things. That share is already included in our losses.

Less than £3million of the loss is down to stadium related things… Will the new stadium balance out £15million of losses a year? #oufc
BBC Oxford Sport@bbcoxfordsport

OUFC FINANCES: Oxford Utd recorded net loss for year to June 2025 of £17.5m, compared with £15.9m in previous 12 months. Excluding new stadium development costs, loss up from £10.7m to £14.9m. Cost of Championship football cited as main reason, with club reliant on shareholder support to progress towards “strategic goals”. #oufc Club states: “Based on the numbers within these financial statements, we are within the parameters set under the EFL’s Profit & Sustainability rules for Championship clubs.”

@m0000c1 Those two things are entirely unrelated. The stadium will bring in significant revenue. For a start, when I go I usually have a couple of drinks before the game and one at half time. Some don’t drink at all, some drink far more and eat food, so I’ll use myself as ‘average’
