Amblema elliottii is a freshwater mussel in the family Unionidae only found in Alabama. The genus Amblema was once in the Black Warrior, but has not been seen alive for decades. Sequencing the genome of Amblema elliottii will aid its conservation. Vote: moty2024.senckenberg.science/en/
