#WWE made Jeff Cobb leave #NJPW early when he was booked to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title just to make him a lackey to Solo Sikoa w/an all time lackluster name in a Temu Bloodline.
Then proceeded to strip everything that made him a cool pro wrestler & only had him in 19 televised matches.
There are WWE fans that are convinced Cobb is mid that never got a glimpse of what made him one of the versatile big men in wrestling for years.
Hope this next chapter makes everyone forget this disappointing run.

The NBA just needs a contraction instead of adding more teams, they need to get rid of teams. There’s obviously not enough talent in the league to make the league somewhat competitive throughout the season. Put the fear of contraction to every last place team in the next few years and magically they’ll start being competitive if they don’t reach a certain number of wins, determined by a formula that someone smarter than me can come up with at the end of the year, then boom no more team

TKO believes the profit margin isn’t high enough to run them. This has been an on going debate. They look at everything though a dollar and cents lense. It’s why they are great businessmen for sure but not for this business. Media deals come and go. If you are not creating stars and have legit 10-20 main event level stars it’s going to be a problem down the road. They can hide behind the house shows don’t make money argument when the truth of the matter is if they had that level of star they could sell tickets at a reasonable price and still get 8k-10k with very little overhead. But they have billions in debt so they want maximum money all the time or it’s not worth it to them.

No no. Oba challenging & winning the title is what you help sell a 2 night SummerSlam at a football stadium. End of June he wins King of the Ring to get title shot. You keep him strong between now & then taking on any challengers letting anyone still not on to get on the wagon.

ESPN is so far behind on picks. They’re going to have to figure this 8 min thing out because they can’t be 10+ min behind real time. The whole tipping picks thing is irrelevant when you feel like you can’t be on social media because the TV is that delayed.

Weird if that 20 years of history was so important then it would have sold tickets, once McAfee was added, another 20k tickets were sold for night 1. Cody isn’t selling tickets anymore. Less than 10% of the fanbase know what happen 20 years ago, nobody was watching it was the lowest ratings WWE have had since the early 90s to that point. Celebrities realizing they don’t belong in the middle of major wrestling programming more than the people charge is a problem.
