TIP If you’re on a GLP-1, get a Dexa scan every 6 months. When you see muscle loss, you will want to start resistance training.

Tip: Don’t tell people on Ozempic that if they ate the same amount of food without the Ozempic, they'd lose the same amount of weight. They get very angry.

GLP-1 receptor agonists are increasingly used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity, and trials have shown reductions in cardiovascular risk and slowing of kidney failure. I don’t think this true. After being on Mounjaro for a year and losing 75 pounds with 70 of those pounds being fat per Dexa scan, it safe to say I was consuming more calories than I was burning.
