@DannPetty @DannPetty Whats the most helpful advice/apps learnings for designers to keep up in "AI age" right now?

There were ux designers out there that didn't want to learn visual design, dev or anything "extra" and now out of work - even though there were clear signs. There will be designers of all types that don't take AI seriously and will be out of work - even with clear signs.

@FerdiCildiz @danmall @figma Maybe auto-layout the first word with quote mark together, and do the same with the last?

@danmall @figma Not sure since I didn't try but, I would create three text layers for quote marks and the actual text, wrap all of them in an auto layout frame with fixed with and set to wrap. Also center the text layer in the middle which will contain the quote itself. This should do the trick

Experts at @figma: could you please help me? I want a quote component that accepts any amount of text, centers it, and puts quotation marks of a different color around it. The quotation marks should stay locked up with the text no matter how it wraps. I feel like this should be easy, but I can’t figure it out. My mental model says this should be similar to generated content in CSS: prepend and append inline content at “runtime.” But maybe I’m thinking of it wrong? How would you build this?
