I asked a staff member at @PetSmart how long these animals are left like this, in tiny containers of still water with zero shelter or enrichment. They said they arrived three days prior, and not to worry, “they go fast.” 1/4

@CarolineHarrap Interesting piece. There’s a reference in the linked BBC article to a measure of IS described as ‘confident humility’, and a willingness to learn. Knocks arrogance out of the park on any account!
