That I am excited enough about this publication to be driven back onto this app after 2 years speaks volumes. Massive credit to my coauthors, particularly JP Pallais, Seth McGonigle and the indomitable Maria Razzoli who have led the charge on revisions after my graduation!

The presence of these cells is associated with a concomitant increase in pro-inflammatory factors and DNA damage markers. Clearance of p16+ senescent cells ameliorates this effect.

So so proud of this group of people and everything we produced. Especially proud of the indomitable Jennifer Brown who applied for this award and who pushed these papers through to the end.

We dug into early tear gas research and reevaluated whether the commonly-held assumptions about tear gas as a safe deterrent with no chronic effects are justified.

Are there long-term consequences to tear gas exposure? In 1983, researchers tried to study the long-term effects of concentrated tear gas, but had to stop when 46% of their guinea pigs died within 1 month > a year in the making, our review is out!! (1/3) tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
