@vgrayscale @ChibiReviews At face value, it feels better overall to me that the right side. After looking into it more, the left side also seems to coincide more with the English LN translation, which is what I'm familiar with. For at least two of them, either are fine, but I prefer the left side.

And Over-translating (Westernising it) doesn't help either. When my ears here something different to what my eyes read; ITS ANNOYING!

@Cascading_Dream @AdBlock_Zero @ChibiReviews 100% is basically impossible, especially between such different cultures. But translators should aim to be as close as they can (while keeping it readable), even if it means leaving some untranslatable stuff untouched, like honorifics.

It's a shame that people insist on comparing 2 EN translations that often both have errors or embellishments instead of the original JP.

@Cascading_Dream @ChibiReviews It shouldn't be about which you prefer, it should be about what they are actually saying and if its being said properly. Almost every person if they can rewrite something, will write it in their own way so its a moot point, their job is to write it in a way that mimics original
