Our smart contracts rank as the 3rd and 20th largest WBTC holders on the @arbitrum, with a combined 394 BTC (~$30M) held on-chain. Hey @ngmarley Casta here, the idealizer of Valocracy. These are good considerations on which I also put some thought while designing the framework. Regarding wallet compromise, it is an issue that in my view shouldn't be solved by the Valocracy protocol itself but rather by the continous evolution of wallet infrastructure technology, as this is a sistemic issue on the crypto native life. Now, about bribery and corruption... TGP cannot be directly sold, but individuals with high TGP can indeed sell their individual acts of voting and be bribed to use their governance power in favor of other interests. The thing is that in a Valocratic arrangement, TGP is earned, not bought. As such, individuals with a high TGP are going to be those who really put a lot of effort on building the community, and as such, they tend to be more concerced about the community they helped to build, and be overall less corruptable than a counterpart from the traditional crypto world which just bought governance power in the form of commercial tokens via DEX and have no real ties to the underlying community. Philosophically speaking, Valocracy is not attempting to make a system in which corruption is impossible, perhaps this is not really feasible on a "human" arrangement. But what we are trying to do, is to at least change the game theory and it's corresponding incentive mechanisms in order to emancipate better individuals as leaders than our current systems is being capable of doing right now. @andr9froes @balajis @VitalikButerin @zooko @castacrypto @michael2xl I like this idea, it has a lot of merit. But what happens to my soulbound token if my wallet gets compromised? Also, influence can still be bought. Any user with TGP could simply sell it or offer it to the highest bidder out of band. What's to stop them from doing that?
