Most department seminar series are budget constrained. But presenting work in other departments is a crucial way for speakers to get feedback on their work and disseminate their ideas, and for everyone (speakers and the audience) to broaden their networks. This is most important for junior scholars. If you’d like to invite junior scholars to present causal work related to crime or CJ policy, but need funding to do it, get in touch! We can provide funding for this (just as we do for conferences).
