@Aviation_XX @Turbinetraveler If you have ever traveled with a child under 5, absolutely. This is a godsend for mothers traveling. Laying flat and co-sleeping is singularly the best shot at getting your kid to go to sleep and stay asleep for long periods.

@Turbinetraveler @Aviation_XX Great if you're short and like to sleep in a fetal position. Also, what happens if the seatbelt light goes on mid-flight and they have given you a blanket and mattress? If they copied Air New Zealand maybe they know. Does anyone here know?

@gertieok @hayden_9776 @sm @FlyAirNZ For a parent and a small child, it is genius. For two adults, it's tough. I used the Air NZ Skycouch (basically the same product) for years when my son was small.

You don’t have a right not to be offended. Charlie offended some people, I offend some people. So what? You didn’t like what he said - and then what happened? “He’s influencing people!!” So what, influence them back. In America, we don’t shut down opinions we don’t like. Period.

@seanmdav @bennyjohnson Yes, he should go back to his failed country, where honor killings, beating your wife, raping women who are unaccompanied by men, and throwing gays off the rooftops are acceptable.

@ramit Great advice! When we refinanced our home in 2020, we immediately set up an auto transfer to our brokerage account for the difference in payments. Easy several hundred a month going straight into a low cost index fund.

When you have a golden age with your money, take advantage of it!!! For example, when your car payments finish, you're living in a golden age How to think about it:

No, it’s the state of California. If I’m the CEO of a large corporation and there was a large portion of money that went out, it happened, even though I didn’t know about it, I’m fully responsible since I’m the CEO of the company. This is taking responsibility, something that Newsom never does.

THERE IS SO MUCH MISINFORMATION ABOUT FIRE AID SPREADING ONLINE. Let's state the facts: Gov. Newsom is not in control of Fire Aid. Neither is the state of California. Fire Aid is an independent, private organization that raised $100 million after California's wildfires. Instead of giving direct grants to fire victims, they chose to give money to non-profits to distribute the funds. So far, they've handed out about $75 million. Many of the non-profits delivered much needed money to victims. There are many examples of that. There are questions about the vetting of why some non-profits were chosen to receive funds & how much they received. That's been the subject of extensive reporting by FOX 11 this week. After Rep. Kevin Kiley saw that reporting, he called for a federal investigation. Kiley is now in touch with Fire Aid representatives to get more clarity on their accounting...as are we. We've repeatedly invited a representative of Fire Aid to join us live on the air & they've declined our offer. I hope that changes. As we continue to ask questions, I hope all of us can stick to verifiable facts and not inaccurate speculation.
Linda@HonestAlways2

So Newscum just gave 100 million dollars raised by taxpayers for the fire victims to democrats NGOS! Democrats money laundering never ends! Building Permits are almost nonexistent, but he is forcing people to give up land to his socialist low income apartment complex? Let’s not even discuss the hypocrisy during COVID Those illegals he covets is nothing more than a number to count for democrats seats & power grab! Just a snake!

@randomrecruiter We are going back to three days a week, but like many companies, we downsized office space during COVID, so it is now a complete battle to book any working space. (We have a hoteling desk/office system.) Utter joke.

The era of remote as the default is over. According to JLL, over half of Fortune 100 desk workers are now fully back in the office. Just two years ago, only 5% were. Today it's 54%. The average requirement is now 3.8 days/week and climbing. In my experience recruiting for tech roles at F500s, this lines up. Most of the roles we fill are hybrid typically 3 days/week onsite. Even in-person interviews are becoming more common. Companies want to screen out fake candidates and confirm people are truly willing to commute. Since they have the "supply" of the calibre of candidate they want, they're able to implement this without losing out on quality. Remote jobs still exist but in my experience they're usually from small to mid-sized companies you’ve never heard of. And unless it’s an AI role, they tend to pay less. The shift is real. And it’s accelerating.

The fact that the President of the United States posts a fake video of a kneeling Barack Obama being handcuffed and we’re supposed to pretend it’s perfectly normal, everyday stuff shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

What’s with the new trend of women trading in their original engagement ring and wedding band to “upgrade?” Maybe I’m old fashion but why would you get rid of the ring your husband proposed with so you can have an “upgrade.” What happened to anniversary bands?
