Another (huge) undocumented change I just noticed. They enabled HTTP/2 on the CDN (main game server is still HTTP/1.1). It must be recent because I checked not that long ago.

@EBluemage @SaltSudoku @thefezhat I have a NTSC-J X360 and the entire CAVE library on it, cleared most Touhou games on Lunatic, and have played too many arcade & doujin shmups to even count. Easily thousands of hours into shmups. None of them come close to this "reverse bullet hell" genre firepower.

@Ceigar_CEO @SaltSudoku You must play few bullet hells. Many of them do let you put out a stupid amount of fire power.

@ZahidAliJeelani This is a red flag actually. Why try to forcibly cater to everyone like this? How can the move-set work properly universally if inertia can be toggled; don't things get broken or feel sloppy?🤔

@Ceigar_CEO @STGshmups Very weird thing to call out when "Eastern" AAAs are notorious for having their games run like trash on PC.

Definitely worth a share; albeit for the right reasons (they wanted to compensate for HDD users), the devs behind Helldivers 2 have now optimized the game and compressed filesize from 154 GB to 23 GB, essentially making it x7 times smaller Can we see more of this, Western AAAs?

If there's one thing that I agree with @LocalBtnMasher , it's that enemies are kind of underrated. Personally, I very much like "annoying enemies". I'd take an action game with just 3 attacks and 50 different enemies over a game with 50 attacks and 3 enemies.

@Coma3366 I wanna struggle and experiment and figure it all out on my own so I'm gonna mute everything about the game on the internet now. Welp. Anyways, thanks again.

@Coma3366 Sounds awesome. I like both challenges, I have a gut feeling that I'm gonna love this game in the end. Already downloaded it but I gotta finish a few quick game projects first. Can't wait.

Does Strangers of Paradise have actually difficult content? Something that I really need to build around OR just play extremely well? I've been interested in the game for a long time but I'm afraid it's too mindless and not built for challenge.🤔Anyone? #SOPFFO

@Ceigar_CEO Yes, the DLC is exactly this. You'll have to both build around the difficulty AND play extremely well to beat it. Endgame/DLC might as well be a different ballpark of a game.

@MasterNinjaRyu_ @xaerock Thank you both. I bought it, seems like I would like it. I've been afraid that the game is purely about grind and stats and the combat would be more of an afterthought and too undermined by that. Seems like that's not the case then, but it's a more balanced mix. Great!

Of course it has it difficult content, it's TOTALLY built for challenge and the combat is absolute Peak 🔥 Yeah it has the RPG part where you can break the game if you want or you can approach the game by just focusing on the pure mastery of the combat 💪 Stranger of Peak was my personal GOTY of 2022, totally 😌🥷

If you have a Xbox One/Series, get these. LOTS of content to play on multiple difficulties. If you don't have one, buy an old used Xbox One X, and then get these.

@VoiceOfYourHead Have you played NG games? This "you can dodge them with spacing" is so out of touch point to make. As if you can't do that in NG4, and as if it was any better in the old games. Enemies don't "completely magnetize to you" either. x.com/ceigar_ceo/sta…

@P_AllensProfile Unironically this is better spacing bc while you do fly over to enemies (& can still whiff!) At least the enemies dont completely magnetize to you when they try to attack. You can dodge them with spacing.

NG4 fans will look at this and go "Woah, awesome spacing! You can even re-direct your attacks!"
