I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it. I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for. My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.

I actually genuinely appreciate your thoughtful response and I think this is a great question to ask versus the typical mudslinging. I love humanity, but I also recognize our trajectory. As a species we have been on the path to innovating ourselves out of existence since we’ve discovered fire… we tackle every problem that exists and find a way to improve it to basically make life easier. There’s something in us as humans that makes us always unsatisfied. No matter how much success money people always have problems. When you reach a threshold where your physical problems have all been solved that would largely include the human body and our capabilities. If I were to guess at some point, especially when recursive self movement takes hold there will be two sets of humans ones that embrace the singularity and merge with AI and ones that are left behind and eventually become extinct. That leads to a bigger question as far as are we just our human bodies or are we something else and I guess that will be answered. I’m not saying this should or shouldn’t be happening, but what I am saying is more likely than none that’s what’s inevitable. A positive way to look at this is not that am I going to be able to do what I’ve always done or am I going to discover what I am and do things I didn’t think we were possible. Are we just human or are we something else occupying a human body? I have no idea But I’m guessing we’re going to find out Or AI will be the end of us all But I don’t think there’s any stopping it.

I think it’s safe to assume that is you take the ratio of games sold under these big hits that suddenly some amazing indie games out preform physical sales metrics even close enough to make it worth it. Like big box stories have indie games flying off the shelves let alone the availability of physical copies of these games. The numbers aren’t there lol.

Do you not work the same way when you generate something. Obviously this would get into a philosophical debate. That questioned will be answered once recursive self improvement is achieved. I don’t really buy that. Humans are derivative too. We learn from everything we’ve seen, read, and experienced, then combine those things into something new. AI does the same thing—just differently. If AI can’t be original because it builds on prior knowledge, then neither can we.

@CenterActual @ABAOProductions Generative AI is, by nature, derivative. It cannot have an original thought, or create an original image. All it can do is replicate an approximation (or "average") of everything it's consumed and "knows" about what is being asked by the person writing the prompt.
