I get that this is an unpopular view but:
We need more journalists & fewer pundits.
We need more original reporting & fewer hot takes riffing off the news.
We don't have this because reporting takes work and is difficult & pontificating on YouTube is lazy & easy.

I feel the same way about toes. I washed many bottoms as a carer but washing feet was the thing that really grossed me out. Especially if wonky or hairy. I would like for sandals & flip-flops not to be a thing. But, yeah, I have to manage my own disgust feelings.

My first job out of college was pumping gas at the old Sunoco on Rte. 35 south in Keyport, NJ. I had no training in pumping gas, but somehow managed ok, only a few minor explosions. I hope to live long enough to see the Garden State actually repeal one of the dumbest things ever
