Is conduction system pacing (CSP) ready to replace cardiac resynchronisation therapy or should the two approaches be complementary tools? At EHRA Congress 2026 Dr Pugazhendi Vijayaraman was joined by Dr Kenneth Ellenbogen to examine growing real-world data and randomised evidence emerging for both left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) and His bundle pacing. Watch now for an expert discussion on one of the most debated questions in cardiac pacing 🔗 arrhythmiaacademy.com/video-index/eh…

#EHRA26 New data from our translational animal lab @UCPH_Research We have talked a lot about spasms… but: How does #PFA impact coronary vascular integrity❓❔ 🔬 Key findings:
• PFA induces acute coronary endothelial dysfunction, evidenced by impaired bradykinin-mediated vasorelaxation
• The severity of dysfunction varies by location:
– Least pronounced at the CTI
– More evident in the GCV
– Most severe with epicardial application
• Smooth muscle function remained intact, as responses to nitric oxide donor (SNP) were preserved
👉🏻While vasospasms are typically reversible, our data suggest that endothelial injury persists beyond the acute phase, potentially contributing to delayed complications such as:
• Recurrent coronary spasms
• Malignant arrhythmias
• Neointimal hyperplasia and coronary stenosis @JacopoImberti @micaela_ebert @AugustoMeretta @Sharon_Man @BA_Mulder @DrAnthonyLi @veramasloo @BoldiKovacsMD @DrYanushiDW @MartinRauber3 @netta_doc @HaseebEPHF @EHRAPresident #Cardiology #Electrophysiology #PFA #Arrhythmia #TranslationalResearch
