@IS_Antwi @ms_yenu Until we get rid of the Chinese companies that are profiting off of galamsey we will continue to have galamsey. That is the greatest issue affecting Ghana right now

Imagine this oohhh.… why will you take inflation from 14.2% to 54% in the first place. ? You printed 49 billion ghc, do you know what that did to Ghanaians? Over 850k people fell below the poverty line because of this. You’re here asking questions about bringing it down from 54% to 23 % maybe you shouldn’t have taken it up to 54% in the first place that would have been a wiser and smarter thing to do. ! What was the benefit of taking it up to 54%?
Wan Kay@KayMedia_

If Governor Addison spent 9.8 billion cedis to reduce inflation from 54% to 23%, and Governor Asiamah spent 35 billion cedis to reduce it from 23% to 3.3%, then how much would Asiamah need to spend to reduce inflation from 54% to 23% at his same rate of spending?

@MaameEsiGold @KayMedia_ You can't even trust the Chinese anymore they just have their own agenda here and it definitely doesn't involve caring about Ghanians. That's why they are willing to push us into such desperate situations

@IanECox @edzitron The issue with gold mining in Ghana is that most of it is illegal, which is why it is so detrimental to the environment. Galamsey is ruining the land that we have so that the Chinese can get richer. facebook.com/reel/143235147…

@Citi973 Big move for Ghana’s reserves, if Damang Gold Mine truly channels 100% of initial output to the Bank of Ghana, it’s a major step for strengthening national gold holdings.

Head of Communications at the Ghana Gold Board, Prince Minkah, says Damang Gold Mine’s decision to commit 100% of its initial gold output is a major boost to Ghana’s reserves. The gold will be processed for the Bank of Ghana and added to national reserves, marking what he describes as a historic first for a large-scale mining firm. Yes they are. I was in Ghana for detty December and your people were everywhere begging for money, even your Uber drivers won’t stop telling me their problems once they found out I’m Nigerian. Lastly, Nigeria is far bigger than Ghana, don’t makes sense why the poverty rate is higher.

@okoliecollins5 @UdokaOsuji @BBOjulari The West Africa gas pipeline that supplies gas to Benin,Togo, and Ghana runs through them. That pipeline is a huge money spinner for Nigeria, and most of the gas facilities in Nigeria (apart from NLNG) channel the majority of gas produced through that pipeline .

BIG ENERGY: I am pleased to announce that NNPC Limited has successfully completed the River Niger crossing of the OB3 Gas Pipeline. Executed 2km beneath the riverbed using advanced HDD technology, this milestone unlocks a transport capacity of 2 billion scf/day—strengthening Nigeria’s energy security, power generation, and industrial growth. It also builds on our AKK crossing success and reflects disciplined execution, innovative engineering, and the unwavering commitment of our team and partner, PCE Nig. Limited. I thank Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his Gas-to-Prosperity agenda, our Board under Chairman Ahmadu Musa Kida, the host communities, and the resilient team at NGIC for their steadfast support and commitment. The OB3 Pipeline links East to West and connects to the Northern corridor via the AKK Pipeline, unlocking over 500 million scf/day of domestic gas. The AKK will supply power plants, fertiliser, manufacturing, and new industries across Kaduna, Kano, and beyond, driving job creation, economic diversification, energy access, and West African exports.
