I might look into getting a @Tangem cold wallet. Still looking for a secure cold wallet to store my $LINK Them working together with @chainlink gives me the signal they highly value security and compliance. Is there any other wallet I should consider?

@fulltimelinkie It used to be “No one will gamble at the casino” Now it’s “Everyone gambles at Chainlink casino and will need to moving forward” Agreed. But this doesn’t gauge how valuable the gamblers find these casino chips. If they don’t hold them long, how do the chips rise in value?

I've been in $LINK since 2017, and I've seen the fud comically change shape over the years. It's hilarious how it used to be around how no one will ever need oracles or use $LINK, and now that EVERYONE needs $LINK suddenly it's "the token doesn't do anything and won't appreciate"

@fulltimelinkie You can call it whatever you want, but raising questions about $LINK’s indirect value capture is not creating FUD. It’s critical curiosity that I believe determines if $LINK sees $100, let alone $1,000. Partnerships & integrations won’t get us there alone.

Ignore all reality, fuddies. The token was 10 cents. It won't appreciate? It did, and it will continue to. The real point is, though, the fud is always actually exactly the same: Low IQ bullshit. $LINK is going to $100. See you there.

@fulltimelinkie @Cryptopia13 Correct, casinos can print more chips. If Chainlink usage keeps growing, buyers compete for existing supply. That scarcity helps, no disagreement there. But the real question is whether usage-driven demand outpaces node operator selling.

If you point out the whole $LINK marine psyop of just believing $LINK will see the value of all Chainlink’s integrations and partnerships without any actual transparency/proof… You will be mocked, ridiculed, witch-hunted, and blocked. If only $LINK was CLL equity, but it’s not

@fulltimelinkie @Cryptopia13 Your thesis assumes the demand to play games at the casino outpaces the gamblers desire to convert their chips to money. This assumes that betting in the future is more important than taking profit today. I wish to see how the gamblers are handling their chips.

@fulltimelinkie @Cryptopia13 It’s like Casino Chips. To play in the casino, you convert your money to chips. Without chips, you can’t play in the casino. When you are ready to leave, you convert those chips back to money. Casino chips are valuable, but only in the casino.

1/ Genuine questions on $LINK value capture from a long-time supporter. Chainlink has built massive network effects via oracles, CCIP, and data services. Adoption is undeniable. But many wonder if the token economics will deliver meaningful, direct upside to $LINK holders.

@fulltimelinkie @Spudlink1 Agreed, $LINK is baked into the mechanism. My pushback is purely on visibility/timing: clearer data on actual node op margins, $LINK hold vs sell pressure, and usage-driven demand would quantify accrual. Bullish on the tech, just highlighting this is important to $LINK’s value.

I accept they don’t owe any of this to anyone, but this is what’s keeping $LINK down despite all the good CLL news imo. Where’s the right line to draw?

Demand-first + sustainable services before dashboards also makes operational sense. Still, even within those limits, basic anonymized PAL flows

ccip tx volume is solid but the real tell is when they ship dashboards showing PAL routing percentages and reserve mechanics your 10x thesis works if value capture is already flowing through. right now that's the black box tvs at $60b (+41% yoy) and rwa positioning with securitize/ondo/kinexys are strong fundamentals but market wants verifiable splits between nodes/stakers/reserve before pricing in scale production usage is there. transparency on token flows is the missing catalyst

@fulltimelinkie @Spudlink1 I agree that there’s inherent demand for $LINK as it’s required for many CLL services. I disagree on the degree in which this is visible. All I am after is a bit more signal in how “valuable” node ops see $LINK. I want it all to be true, but hope only goes so far in investing.

@Spudlink1 @ChainlinkLoad This is materially different than most tokens which are quite literally completely useless, and nobody needs them, and are purely speculative "investment" vehicles. There is no one to sell them back to but other desperate crypto "investoooors".

Time will tell. It shouldn’t be a surprise though why $LINK is still $9 without it though, node op hold/sell behavior will be a clear tell.

I’ll read up on these blogs/papers/talks that might help me bridge the gaps. I hope you and the rest are right. I will say though, Clarity passing should force CLL’s hand on transparency pretty quickly imo

I already made plenty of graphs on how Chainlink and its token will deliver value. The lack of transparency is also something we've talked about before, so I don't see the need to rehash it once again. You know my points. My personal opinion on how the reserve will serve. In case of slashing, due to misconduct by the operator, there is currently no safeguard or $LINK stake protection. One way to provide a staking protection, is by creating the reserve. This would allow for staking v1 to go in full effect. So you have a protection system and you have $LINK being accumulated. Eventually the chainlink economy will be fully decentralized, so I could see some kind of governance system in the end where there could be votes to grow the network in a particular way. For tokenomics at scale, in my opinion, and as I have stated before, usage is enough. We're absolutely no where near the usage chainlink unlocks. The truth, trust ethos is all well and good, but unless the whole system changes, you live in that system until it is fixed. For what I'm concerned, they have been very transparent and beyond transparent when you compare to other projects. Legal reasons are also to be considered. Given the fact that I have recently unblocked you, as I wanted to give you one final chance. I hope this will suffice. I am not a chainlink labs employee and I have 0 responsibility to hold your hands while investing. I've done my research, I've read pretty much all blogs, and while I might not be able to cite them all from memory, much of your questions can be answered there. Yes, sometimes it still needs a little leap of faith. If it was that easy, everyone would be rich. For me, the number of partnerships and the unparalleled amount of developing shows me this asset is amongst the top tech assets. Once again, you do you. We're not here to convince you. I'm just having fun here. The moment you stop me from having fun, I'll block. Simple as that.
