@HQNewsNow Okay ... so let me be sure I understand the deep analysis here. Folks are sounding grim but--Eureka!--in their heart of heart they feel good! Have I got that right? Whew, this is *deep* stuff. I thought phenomenology was tough, but this takes things to another level!

Q: Why aren't people feeling better about the economy? Trump's Treasury Secretary: Well, in their heart of hearts they feel good

@Acyn He means it's ridiculous to call a corner store a corner store as a small business. I suspect his speechwriters didn't want to use bodega so Stephen Miller wouldn't yell at them. But they are bodegas or delis or convenience stores. A "corner store" is not a term for the business

@Acyn @MeidasTouch Never heard of a corner store …. Further proof that he is and has been, for his entire life, completely out of touch with the lives of common people. And yet … he is all about the gospel, totally about the gospel. What’s wrong with this picture?

@Char0853 @ryankatzrosene Why should I bother to share links to my comments? I can guarantee you would reject them anyway! And not because you evaluated the content yourself but because someone else told you, that the author is liar, a cheater, a dork or even something worse. Am I right?

Slightly rephrased: This is what global climate change would look like since 1950 in a world where humans did NOT emit greenhouse gases (and F-gases), and other human forcings like aerosol radiation interaction, aerosol-cloud interaction, black carbon on snow, contrails, ozone, stratospheric H2O, and land use were not taking place:

@Char0853 @ryankatzrosene Oh PLEASE…. as if all of that hasn’t been published a million times already! For some reasons I can’t explain you just refuse to read it or believe it or at least accept the fact, that all those informations are available to everyone for years now.

@Char0853 @ryankatzrosene Except that this is completely wrong. Knut Ångström already knew it in 1900 and published the mistakes of Svante Arrhenius. The Idea of a greenhouse effect is a total nonsense. CO2 has nothing to do with the temperatures. Absorbed solar radiation and cloud albedo does the work.

@Henthor70 @ryankatzrosene Oh, good grief. That CO2 acts as a climate forcing agent has been known since the days of Eunice Foote and John Tyndall. As others have said, this can be easily demonstrated in a high school or undergrad physics lab.

@justmikejustice @allenanalysis Fair enough. That, however, doesn't eliminate the reality that certain leaders went to Pilate to get permission to have him executed ... because they didn't like his politics.

They killed him because it was the will of God. Matthew 16:22-23 “Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee." “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”

BREAKING: JD Vance just told the Pope to be careful when opining on theology. The Pope. The head of the Catholic Church. The Bishop of Rome. The man whose institution has been the authority on Christian theology for two thousand years. JD Vance — who converted to Catholicism in 2019 — is telling the Pope to be careful about theology.

BREAKING: The U.S. bishops’ Committee on Doctrine just issued a formal statement defending Pope Leo XIV's teaching authority on just war doctrine — less than twelve hours after JD Vance told a Turning Point USA crowd the pope should “be careful” talking theology. This is a serious escalation as the institutional Catholic Church is coming together to defend its pontiff from the White House’s political attack.

Nehls: The pope needs to keep his business to leading his flock, leading the church, and stay out of the political arena. Go lead your church. Stay out of politics. We didn’t elect the pope to be the president. Donald Trump is our president.

@allenanalysis The Pope shouldn't inject himself in politics. It's a worldly affair. And he's spotting himself with it. JD Vance is correct to admonish him. This Pope doesn't seem to understand Scripture at all.

Between 2007 and 2012, scientists conducted comprehensive ice drilling in Greenland, aiming to unveil Earth's climate history from the previous 125,000 years. Their findings put today's climate fearmongering into perspective. "Back then, Greenland was around 8°C warmer than today. Sea levels were 4-8m higher." "Yet the planet didn't collapse and Greenland didn't melt. There were no tipping points and no mass extinctions." "The planet was far warmer and life flourished." Credit: @Electroversenet
