Some of the most lopsided battles in all military history are from the Rhodesian Bush War in the 70's. You'd have units like the Rhodesian Light Infantry fighting guerrillas that outnumbered them 10 to 1 or 20 to 1 or 100 to 1. And they would inflict thousands of casualties with like 1 guy injured.

That guy leaves behind a trail of political destruction because of his patent preference for BIG GOVERNMENT and overt disdain for BIG SOCIETY. The USA has thrown a bomb in aggression on every continent except Antarctic and North America. Story for another day. The US is the only country to ever nuke another country. And that was Japan.
