@CMFrumin @ChmnMendelson @CMWendellFelder questioned whether his colleagues would have this much concern for the tenets of the deal if RFK campus was based elsewhere in the city. He said he wants to show that the council is committed to "inclusive growth and equitable investment."

It is clear, however, how sorely #Ward8’s voice was missing from these discussions. There are no specific community benefits investments earmarked in neighborhoods home to the largest share of DC’s youth and working poor. I urge the Council to correct this before 2nd reading.
