As a rule of thumb: if a President gives an Oval Office address, it means the issue they are discussing is even more dire than the public realizes. Biden wants the public to know: we cannot take our eyes off of what’s happening in Israel & Ukraine.

On October 7th, Hamas declared war on Israel. Israel has every right to defend itself, defeat Hamas, & win the war. Many of these cries for a “ceasefire” are well-intentioned, many are not. Regardless, the cries will & should be ignored. Israel is at war, they must win this war that came to them, and, as always, they’ll fight in this war trying their best to minimize civilian casualties.

In this war, the Palestinian side is responsible for 100% of the rapes, 100% of the beheadings, 100% of the kidnappings, 100% of the murders by burning alive. Israel doesn’t sink to that level of targeted cruelty.

Yesterday, when @NYTimes published a fictitious story from Hamas about Israel bombing a hospital, NYT used a picture from a completely different location to make it look like a picture of the hospital that was “destroyed.” Astonishing disinformation and journalistic malpractice.

So now we know: - There was no Israeli airstrike. - It was Islamic Jihad who misfired a rocket. - It was a parking lot, not a hospital. - It was about 20 people killed, not 500. Lesson learned: terrorists who rape, murder and sever heads of babies, might also lie.

NYC-DSA is threatening a lawsuit against and demanding an apology from those of us, like Mayor Eric Adams, who called out the organization’s antisemitism. DSA promoted a rally, demanding Israel’s destruction immediately following the deadliest terrorist attack in Israel’s history. Participants in the rally were caught celebrating and cheering the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The DSA’s lawsuit will be laughed out of court. The DSA itself should be laughed out of politics.

Our pro-peace movement is strong. With each passing day, more and more lawmakers are heeding the call for an immediate ceasefire. This is about saving lives. Call and demand a #CeasefireNOW.

Not a word condemning Islamic Jihad for causing the hospital explosion in Gaza and killing hundreds of Palestinian civilians. Not a word from the UN. Not a word from Israel’s usual critics, who rushed to judgement with a blood libel. Not a word from Hamas (no surprises). The sudden silence is deafening. If you think the death of Palestinians is cause for outrage only when Israel is the accused, then you are not pro-Palestinian. You are simply anti-Israel. There is a difference.

Just a reminder: 1. Israel got out of Gaza in 2005. 2. Hamas became Gaza’s ruling government in 2007. 3. Gaza has been a terrorist base ever since, lobbing rockets at Israel on a daily basis. 4. Since 2006, Gaza has received gazillions in international aid, yet Gaza remained impoverished & undeveloped. What happened to all that aid? Ask Hamas.

Who in their right mind can watch Hamas terrorists commit atrocities, brutally murder civilians, kidnap children & elderly, & then protest Israel’s right to defend itself???
