@ReassessHistory I was there with my girls the other week, i thought the WW1 section was excellent, but the WW2 part felt a bit jumbled together and not very coherent. I agree with you about the separation of the Holocaust from the WW2 gallery.

I gave a mate a WW2 tour around IWM last week, his hearing aids played up with the overwhelming ambient sound. The narrative presented is still too simple, stripped back & reducing an extraordinary story to one of mediocrity, losing vibrant voices along the way. For all the cost it currently feels adrift, with the deeper motivations/ideologies of the Axis state utterly lost. Quite a few factoids are evident, and the separation of the Holocaust from the WW2 galleries leaves me deeply uncomfortable. #WW2 #SWW #History

@RucksSake I don’t see any problem with him there, he’s a glue player with excellent communication and all round skills, my concern is putting Freeman at 13, I think Lawrence and Dingwell is a far better combo.
