I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, @MairiMcAllan is the first fully fledged @theSNP-era politician. Careerism shaped not just by party dogma, but by senior civil service parents, the Scottish education system during SNP rule, and the professional and third-sector class bubbles the party cultivates. She’s not rebelling against the system. She *is* the system - its most seamless product. Personally, she makes me shudder.
