The quality of free agency isn't as good as it was even a decade ago. You're paying A+ money for B+ talent. Denver still has the opportunity to upgrade at TE. I can't justify paying Singleton, but clearly the team likes him more than we do as analysts and fans. The team was in on Etienne but $13 million was a pretty steep asking price for the most volatile position in sports. Don't understand why they didn't target Allgeier, but again they must have their reasons. I can guarantee you that Sean and George care more about winning than they do saving a buck. Sometimes the market just doesn't fall your way.

I mean, lmao. Whatever. Singleton is better than gets credit for but granted still not good enough. A great DL that keeps him clean goes a looooong way in masking his deficiencies so we’ll see how they bolster it with JFM walking. Cam Jordan?

Talked to Georgia linebacker CJ Allen a bit just now. Apparently Glenn Schumann just let him run the show on the field most of the time unless he had a specific situational call on the sheet he wanted to get into. For everything else, Allen did the calls, the checks, all of it.
